Just these few edited paragraphs cover a vast amount of fact, about the true mindset, motives, modus operandi and actual tactical and strategic goals of the millions of mortal enemies of Israel.

evacuation of people from the roof of the American Embassy in Vietnam. the “most remembered photo of the fall of Saigon.” However, the caption in the New York Times was “wrong.” Those boarding the helicopter to flee Saigon were not Americans; they were Vietnamese.”

In short, excellent. And where are the big, powerful and very public voices, speaking out against thes clear attempt’s and preperation for a second Holocaust? I can’t find ‘em.

In 2005, Van Es wrote about the confusion in the New York Times:

“In fact, the photo is not of the embassy at all; the helicopter was actually on the roof of an apartment building in downtown Saigon where senior Central Intelligence Agency employees were housed.”

That distinction only emphasizes your point all the more. Van Es said that he correctly captioned the photo, but that his UPI editors did not:

“Apparently, editors didn’t read captions carefully in those days, and they just took it for granted that it was the embassy roof, since that was the main evacuation site. This mistake has been carried on in the form of incorrect captions for decades. My efforts to correct the misunderstanding were futile, and eventually I gave up.”

I think the above statement could also be applied to the coverage of Israel. Some in the media have a specific angle with the Arab/Israeli conflict and will either use staged photos and footage, such as the Al Dura film or adapt legitimate images to fit their story line. I don’t know whether UPI deliberately changed the caption, but it is telling that it took Van Es 30 years to get that mistake straightened out.
