Sometimes, novels are prophetic. I am thinking of George Orwell and Jean Raspail who both imagined life in the late 20th and early 21st century. Raspail is the novelist who imagined that a dark-skinned barbarian horde would take over France. His work, The Camp of the Saints(1973) was originally condemned as “racist.” Slowly, over time, European government leaders began reading his novel and consulting with Raspail. I have written about his work before HERE and HERE in my book, The Death of Feminism.

In January of 2006, Ilan Halimi was brutally tortured for three full weeks in Paris by gangs of African Muslim immigrant torturers. The media did not describe them as “Muslims,” but rather as “youth,” “militants,” “gang-members, “immigrants,” and “immigrants from Africa.” Neighbors took turns and joined in torturing Halimi. Other neighbors heard his screams and did nothing. Some came to watch. Halimi died on February 13, 2006. The ringleader of the gang, Youssouf Fofana fled to Ivory Coast in Africa but was extradited back to France. He and 18 others are facing a trial in his torture and murder. American expatriate journalist, Nidra Poller, has written about this horrific case.

Now, a visibly Jewish, kipah-wearing 17 year-old, Rudy Haddad, walking in a Jewish quarter, was set upon by 15-30 “African immigrants.” No one is saying whether they are Muslims or not. Alright, Martians from Africa beat Haddad with iron bars and fractured his skull. Haddad, like Halimi, and like their attackers, are also of African or possibly Arab descent–as was Sebastien Selam who was murdered in Paris in 2003. Haddad has just come out of a medically induced coma. According to a Jewish Telegraphic Agency report:

“While French officials were quick to condemn the attack, most fell short of identifying the crime as anti-Semitic, saying the police first needed to complete their ongoing investigation. French President Nicolas Sarkozy told reporters while visiting Israel this week that he was “particularly shocked by what happened to a young French boy, on the pretext that he was wearing a kipah,” the AFP news agency reported. In an initial presidential statement Sunday, Sarkozy denounced the attack but did not draw such conclusions.” Read the JTA REPORT, HERE.

However, various representatives of the French Jewish community have denounced this horrific crime as “anti-Semitic” which, when last I checked, is also considered a form of racism.

So, where are all the anti-racists now? I hear no condemnations. The silence is chilling. And all too predictable. Where are the mainstream media? Where is FOX, CNN, MSNBC, and the International Herald Tribune? (Only ABC ran a Reuters’ 190 word story earlier today). When I googled this story, the first three pages consisted of stories filed by small bloggers and mainly by Jewish and Israeli media. (Military Photos carried a story as well). But where are The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times? For heaven’s sake: Where is Le Soir, Le Monde, and Figaro? Has France’s Channel 2 covered this?

Arguably, Channel 2 bears a great responsibility here for that is the channel that broadcast the fake murder of Mohammed al-Dura and that sued for defamation when Philippe Karsenty described the coverage as a hoax. As we all know, the French Court found that Karsenty’s criticism was not “libelous.” Charles Enderlin, of Channel 2, has vowed to appeal this decision and has gotten 300 of his journalist-buddies to form a circle of support for him.

I think that Haddad’s grieving family and the Chabad community (to which Haddad was apparently connected since he was on his way to pray at the Beth Chaya Mouchka Lubavitch synagogue), might explore a lawsuit (or at least a demonstration) against the state-owned Channel 2 and against Enderlin. If you think this is a far-fetched suggestion, please consider the other options.

Indeed, what is to be done? Do Jews world-wide, beginning in Europe, and particularly in the 19th arondissement in Paris, need Israeli Defense Forces to guard them as they walk to Parisian synagogues?

Do French police officers need to guard individual Jews just as they have been forced to guard each and every synagogue and Jewish Center ever since Palestinian terrorist leader Yaser Arafat began his murderous campaign in the late 1960s of airplane hijackings, hostage taking, and synagogue and airport bombings, etc.?

Shall the remnant of Jewish life in Europe wearily pick itself up and leave, either to Israel, Australia, or America which is still the last country standing? Will Jewish-Israeli expatriates to Germany actually leave?

Will Europe finally consider not allowing any further immigration of African or Arab Martians? Will Europe finally dare to consider outlawing radical and unevolved Islam as a criminal enterprise?

How about deportation then?

Or must France, and for that matter, all Europe, start deporting African and/or Muslim immigrants? (Oh I can just hear the civil libertarians shutting down their minds. Even I’m slightly queasy about this suggestion). Or must France consider deporting only African and/or Muslim immigrant gang-members? (What if a gang member reforms and is rehabilitated and we deport him back to a country which practices torture and kidnaps young children as soldiers in their barbarian armies?) Well then, how about deporting African Muslim immigrant gang members who have previously been convicted of violent crimes? (But you can’t hold someone’s past against them, it may not predict their future, they may turn over a new leaf, etc.) Alright, then. What is the magic formula that will allow Europeans to act against the barbarians in their midst without having to live with something that is worse than barbarism, namely, that most-dreaded of accusations: “Racism?”

Clearly, Europe is willing to sacrifice its Jews to African immigrant and/or to Muslim barbarism. Will it prove willing to allow secularists or Christians to also be sacrificed to barbarism as well?

Judith:

Thanks for highlighting this important story. While Sarkozy is busy in Israel insisting it divides Jerusalem & expells the Jews living in Judea & Samaria, his felllow countrymen are beating the skulls of young Jewish French boys walking home from synagogue on the Sabbath. A Parisian version of Kahane’s Jewish Defense League patrolling the Marais may be the only solution against these punk Jihadis.

What is driving me over the edge is that the mainstream media give these stories such short shrift.

I’m thinking that we’re reliving those run-up days to Hitler’s reign of terror.

I (and many others, I assume) have received an email from Yann Battefort, Deputy Consul, Press Counselor, Consulate General of France in New York:

“Communique from the office of the President, June 23, 2008.

“President Sarkozy has issued a statement expressing his profound indignation at the attack which took place in Paris in the 19th arrondissemnt last night. He reassures the victim and his family of his support and affirms his absolute determination to fight all forms of racism and anti-Semitism.”

I have just one piece of advice for Jews, both within Israel, and in the Exile. Remember Orde Wingate and the Night Raids.

Not just in France, but Britain, too, where rabbis have been attacked by “youths.” This is the ideological trap left-liberalism has lead itself into, unable to take stern measures to defend the civilization that gave it birth.

I’ll point out that the Swiss recently passed a law (or are about to pass) that requires the deportation of the entire family of an immigrant convicted of a serious crime.

“I’ll point out that the Swiss recently passed a law (or are about to pass) that requires the deportation of the entire family of an immigrant convicted of a serious crime.”

We need this law - deport gang members and their whole families. That would force a big attitude change in the refusing- to-assimilate immigrant communities whose parenting turns anchor baby wolves loose on the citizens of host
countries.

But of course the elite in their gated communities with enough money to buy security will oppose any such “civil rights violations” which impede their ability to import slave labor for their homes and offices. Justice is bought and sold in the legal system so do not look there for help.

In the meantime Jews should demand the right to carry firearms as they are being victimized by unrestrained immigration policies which amount to the European version of ethnic cleansing although the French take care that the blood never shows on their hands.

It’s been said that the Jewish people are like the “Canary in the mineshaft”. That is, when Evil is growing around the planet, one of it’s earliest signs is an increase in anti-semitism.
Perhaps there is a theory that explains this.
Bullies, psychopaths, sadists, all have one personality trait in common, one common psychological root; Narcissism. Narcissists have a superiority complex on the surface but a deep inferiority complex inside. They feel unloved, frightened, alone, a failure. Who do they resent the most? Who do they hate the most? People that appear strong, intelligent, confident, happy, who have a sense of belonging.
What group has the highest average IQ, who though tiny in population, are way over represented in all professional fields? With their strong family ties, emphasis on education, a tight knit sense of community and shared history, the Jewish people are a sure lightening rod of hate filled bullies everywhere.
So, whenever Evil and Hate begin to grow unchecked and disturbed, angry people begin to dance to it’s tune…yes, anti-semitism begins to grow and grow.
It seems easy at first to the non Jews, because, after all, it’s not about them. Maybe “those Jews” need to be knocked down a few pegs anyway…
But let the world remember the lesson the German people learned too late; Hatred starts as just a few sparks but soon grows into a Firestorm and consumes…Everyone. If you don’t begin to fight it when your neighbors are led off to mass murder…realize soon it will be your turn.
Particularly where Totalitarian Islam is concerned, the New Nazis…the New Evil…as it screams louder and lounder to “Kill all the Jews!”…as far as Islam is concerned, we are ALL “Jews”.

Jun 25, 2008 - 6:54 pm Louis Santacroce:

So, “President Sarkozy has issued a statement expressing his profound indignation at the attack which took place in Paris in the 19th arrondissemnt last night,” eh? In America, such indignation at a bunch of immigrant thugs beating attacking someone (immigrant or national) would be a job for both the criminal courts and the INS. Sarkozy instead pours oil on some decidedly troubled waters.

Talk is the cheapest thing going. Take some action, Sarkozy, along with the rest of you chickenshit leaders; deport terrorists! Yes; this means moslems! If deportation — From France, from England, from Switzerland (where the oslems wear tee shirts emblazoned with the number “2030,” the year they intend to have procreated so profusley that they will be able to take over the Swiss government simply by voting it out of existence), from Canada (where talks are under discussion about whether to let moslems live under Islamic law, meaning they could kill any “infidel” they found “slandering” islam and escape from the law unscathed, to America — makes me a racist, then to hell with it; call me a racist if you want to. Just remember, I’m not calling for the deportation of all Arab peoples; I want MOSLEMS out of the country, whether they be Arab, black, white, asain, whatever. I do not want to live among those whose very belief system calls for the destruction of anyone who doesn’t share their faith. I have read the Koran, and you cannot convince me that Jihad is a philosophical term. Neither is raping nine year olds (as their “prophet” did) and excusing such behavior by calling them “wives.” Oh, and by the way, I’d like to deport members of the Aryan Brotherhood (perhaps it is called such because no woman is stupid enough to join it?), the Klan, and other, like like groups for the same reason, if we could find some country (maybe Iran? But, no; members of THOSE groups claim to be Christians!) that’s willing to take them.

Phyllis and Tom and a number of others have said it time and again, and they’re right on target: we are all Jews now; all non-moslems are now part of the same family. We had better start acting like it, as in “hang together or hang seperately.”

Indeed, what is to be done? Do Jews world-wide, beginning in Europe, and particularly in the 19th arondissement in Paris, need Israeli Defense Forces to guard them as they walk to Parisian synagogues?

Indeed, what is to be done is that Jews should leave the various arondissements in Paris, and the various districts in the rest of France, AND COME HOME TO ISRAEL.

In addition, Phyllis, Jews should leave Germany, America and Canada as well. Do you seriously think your welcome there is so strong? If you do, then think again. No matter what the legalities are, Jews living outside of Israel are guests, foreigners who are tolerated. When push comes to shove in the States and elsewhere, and folks get down to the short hairs of survival, you will find this out in a most visceral way.

You’ve done well to scream about the mainstream media not giving a damn about us - but the bottom line is that we Jews are reckoned alone among the nations of mankind. I know it’s a tough message, hard to swallow, but it’s the truth.

Jun 25, 2008 - 9:16 pm Virginia:

Yes, to all of you. There are old bible prophecies cloaked in religious BS but still instructive.

These are evil times and the four horsemen are riding the land. Earthquake, floods and more nuclear plants being built on land that is shaking. If they blow up, people will rise in the air and evaporate and graves will open. The nuclear winter afterward will make survivors wish they were dead.

Now comes the Chosen One from the East and the first thing he does is pull the liberated women down from the Lion they ride and trample their purple garments under his feet. He has the mark of the beast on him in that his fathers treated his mother like an animal and she showed him no natural affection. He brings the whole world under his power.

I am an atheist but you don’t need a weatherman to see which way the wind blows.

Live as if there is no tomorrow.

Read this about Muslims in the US:

http://www.slate.com/id/2194256/

Jun 26, 2008 - 8:30 am Nancy Kobrin, Ph.D.:

When I read this yesterday, I literally could not respond. It’s taken me one day to gather my energies. We need better laws like the Swiss. Deport the entire clan/hamula/qabila. They are fused regressed murderous groups. This is learned behavior in the home. The hand writing is on the wall.

I also think that the burqa should be banned because of the cover it provides for suicide bombers. Enough is a enough. It should be outlawed country by country. They have lost the right to wear it. Especially in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Jun 26, 2008 - 3:38 pm Dr S McCosker:

I have a serious suggestion to make to any non-Muslim Gentile, reading this, who 1. loves and respects Jews and rejects all forms of anti-semitism 2. supports the right of the Jewish state of Israel to exist and to defend itself on ancestral Jewish land liberated from the invading and occupying Empire of Islam (just as Spain, India, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Greece, and certain other places also were liberated, by *their* indigenous non-Muslims) and 3. wishes to expose and defy Muslim hatred of kafir.

Remember the legend about the Danes all donning the yellow star in solidarity with Danish Jews, during the Nazi occupation?

Perhaps it’s time for us all - all of us who oppose the Third Jihad, a subset of which is the jihad against Israel and the Jews - to don the Star of David and wear it: to work, in the street, on campus, wherever we go, all day, every day. If religious symbols aren’t permitted within the workplace, you can still wear it during your commute, or on days off, in the park, in the mall, etc.

Those of us who are Christians, who normally wear a cross around our necks, might consider a Star of David brooch or pin; or wear your cross one day, the Star of David the next, turn and turn about. I am a Christian and I wouldn’t hesitate - after all, Yeshua came from the tribe of Judah.

If you are British or French, or if you teach or study at a modern western university, doing thus may involve real physical danger; you might be wise to sign up for a self-defence course first; but if thousands and thousands of us (let’s hope, millions) do it together, all over the Western world, it might send a message to the Muslims.

One could, if brave enough, put a Star of David or an Israeli flag sticker, on one’s car, letterbox, front door, place of business, consulting room, or (if an academic) display it in one’s office or study on campus. If you are a priest or a pastor, and your congregation has seriously renounced antisemitism, you should have that Star of David on your front fence/ gate/ church door. Then your Jewish neighbours will know that you are a place of safety.

Phyllis - can you let us know of good, reputable sources from which a Star of David (either lapel pin or pendant) may be purchased, online or over the counter? Ditto for stickers? Mini Israeli flags?

There is another possibility: someone could make up a T-shirt with the words “I am a Gharkad tree” written on it in Arabic, Hebrew and, say, English, or French, or German, or Italian, or Spanish. This alludes to a Muslim Hadith which claims that at the End the rocks and trees will tell the Muslims ‘there is a Jew hiding behind me; come and kill him’…except for the Gharkad tree, ‘because it is the tree of the Jews’. So: to say, ‘I am a Gharkad tree’, is to say ‘I vow to help the Jews’, ‘if a Jew seeks shelter with me, or seeks help from me, I will give shelter, I will give help, I will stand between him or her, and the Jihad’.

I know that I would buy, and wear, such a T-shirt.

Furthermore: this Hanukkah, every Gentile who rejects antisemitism and affirms Israel’s right to exist should ask their Jewish neighbours to explain the Hanukkah festival, and ask whether they (the Gentile) might be allowed to join in by setting up eight lamps, in a prominent place outside their home or business or church, in order to defy the antisemites, Muslim or otherwise.

What Christians believe to be true of Yeshua’s Jewish mother Mary is true also of her people, of the whole House of Israel. ‘Hail, Israel, Bearer of G-d. Blessed art thou among peoples; blessed is the Word that you bear’.

As Mary, so the House of Israel: theotokos (god-bearer); anthropotokos (man-bearer). Bearer of a unique vision of the divine; bearer, therefore, also, of a unique and liberating understanding of the human, and of the sanctity of every human life. (see Tom Cahill, ‘The Gifts of the Jews’).

I once heard a Hindu explaining that for Hindus the six-pointed star is the holiest of symbols, reserved for the inner sanctum of temples. A classic Jungian coincidence.

Let us wear the Star of Redemption (Franz Rosenzweig) and affirm, in so doing, everything that jihad and sharia deny, attack and destroy.

Jun 26, 2008 - 5:45 pm John R:

To DrMcCosker I second your thoughts. I too am a Christian (Roman Catholic) who loves Jews unconditionally. I believe they are God’s chosen people and that to destroy them ensures the wrath of God. I love your idea about showing solidarity by wearing the Star of David. But I like better the idea of simply having leaders act like grown ups. That is to say, first, declare radical islam an enemy to civilization and secondly, publically commit to a hot persuit of these barbarians and kill them. It’s time to call in the Orkin man, dammit!

I forgot to say that the anti-christ is not necessary evil - christ was a Jew - the anti christ will be Muslim ie opposite of Jew and opposed to Jews — that is all it means -and it doesn’t mean he is evil - he is just another sign of the coming end times

but here is why I write again — I WANT THIS T-SHIRT ! why can’t this website sell it through that café press thing - need a graphic artist though - i tried to do it once and it is hard to get a good image - they do have organic cotton for the t-shirts.

I am going to find a way to make it a banner I can put on my website.

Jun 27, 2008 - 11:49 am Teplost:

What is the solution? That’s obvious. Enforce the law. Period. No exceptions for special groups. In an open, secular society, it is the individual who has rights, not the group. Conversely, the consequences for breaking the law must apply equally, no matter the ethnicity of the perpetrator.
But I doubt Europe gets that, they’re way too busy trying to be high-minded. So maybe we should just write them off as a lost cause, convince all the Jews to pack up and leave while they can, and hope we don’t make the same mistakes.

Jun 30, 2008 - 8:35 am Virginia:

“Hope we don’t make the mistake? ”

We are about to elect a tool of Zbigniew Brzezenski as president of the US. We are about to enact hate laws that silence critics of Muslims. The “Human Rights” Council of the UN banned criticism of Islam. And the US is proposing that one of every three foreign aid tax dollars go to the UN something BO supports. One of the very few bills Obama ever introduced - the “Global Poverty Act” accomplishes this purpose. http://paganpower.wordpress.com/2008/06/27/has-the-whole-world-gone-mad/#more-157
