Rally Planned in Washington, DC on January 20, 2009.
The calls for Israeli blood grow louder, both in world-wide demonstrations and diplomatically, as Hamas continues to choreograph Israeli “atrocities ” by launching rockets at Israeli civilians from their carefully chosen positions in Gazan schools, hospitals, and mosques.
This is an incredibly cold-blooded trick but it’s one that works. The media falls for it and people of good will are, understandably horrified by the photos of dead and dying Palestinian civilians. Synagogues as well as living Jews are now being physically attacked all across Europe; they are being verbally and often physically attacked all across America.
But now: For some unexpected good news. Hindus (yes, those who live in Bombay/Mumbai as well as all over the world), Jews, (yes, those who live in Israel and elsewhere around the world), Christians, and Buddhists are organizing a rally right opposite the White House on January 20th, the day of President-elect Obama’s Inauguration. This “Coalition for Peace” is urging Obama to “declare Pakistan a terrorist state; stop Iran from producing an atomic bomb; stop Saudi Arabia from funding terrorism; stop Pakistan’s double game with the USA; stop Hamas and Hezbollah’s rocket attacks into Israel; seize Saudi Arabian assets for crimes against humanity.”
Sounds good to me.
The Coalition for Peace are asking people to rally in Washington, DC on January 20th, right opposite the White House from 12-4pm. The Coalition writes:
“The oldest traditions of the world, Hinduism and Judaism, are facing the biggest threat of our times in the form of Radical Islam. Today this problem threatens humanity itself. The brain washing of Islamic children with intolerant ideologies, is being funded by countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran. There is an urgent need to control the use of enormous oil revenues directed at efforts to Islamize the whole world.”
I am posting their Invitation below. I urge those of you who can, to join them.
The Coalition for Peace website is back up, but if you experience any problems as an alternative, please contact Satya at Coalitionforpeace2009@gmail.com.
NEWSFLASH: I HAVE POSTED ONE HALF-ILLITERATE, VULGAR COMMENT BY ONE “ALI” FILLED WITH HIS VIEWS OF THIS COALITION AND WHAT HE WOULD LIKE TO HAPPEN TO US. TAKE A LOOK. IT IS HOW THE PROTESTORS AGAINST ISRAEL AND INDIA SOUND. ALTHOUGH I HAVE REFUSED TO POST SUCH COMMENTS, I THINK IT WILL BE INSTRUCTIVE FOR YOU TO SEE AT LEAST ONE.
INVITATION TO JOIN RALLY DURING OBAMA PARADE RALLY FOR ALL GROUPS TO SPEAK UP AGAINST ISLAMIC TERRORISM
Dear Friends,
We invite you to join our demonstration against the world-wide Islamic threat during the Obama Parade on Jan 20th, in Washington DC. Details are given at http://coalitionforpeace.org.
The oldest traditions of the world, Hinduism and Judaism, are facing the biggest threat of our times in the form of Radical Islam. Today this problem threatens humanity itself. The brain washing of Islamic children with intolerant ideologies, is being funded by countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran. There is an urgent need to control the use of enormous oil revenues directed at efforts to Islamize the whole world.
The recent Florida rally (details at http://coalitionforpeace.org ) where Hindus, Jews, Christians, and Buddhists came together to demonstrate against the Mumbai attack, shows that we can join together to raise our voices. The ongoing turmoil in Israel, due to eight years of Hamas rocket attacks against Israel’s civilian population, is creating awareness about the true face of Islam. Let us unite at the Obama rally by speaking in one voice, asking Obama to take up this issue as an extremely urgent matter, affecting America’s future as a democracy.
The Hindu Jewish Summits, held in India with a leading Rabbi from Israel, Rabbi Yona Metzger, with Swami Dayananda Saraswati, followed by another such summit in Israel, shows that both of our communities can join hands to fight this dreadful and hateful ideology, militant Islam. You can see excellent coverage of that at:
http://frfnet.org/1st-Hindu-Jewish%20Summit%20Report-Final.pdf
Please contact us if you plan to join us at the demonstration in Lafayette Park, across from the White House, on Jan. 20, Inauguration Day. We have already secured a permit for the demonstration, to be held from 12PM-4 PM.
We look forward to a fruitful partnership.

1. Debbie:sadly coaltionforpeace.org has an error come up and the site isn’t active
Jan 7, 2009 - 3:20 pm 2. George Jochnowitz:It’s good news that cooperation between Hindus and Jews is taking place. India did not have full diplomatic relations with Israel until 1992. In the words of my favorite Chinese proverb, “Bu pa man, jiu pa zhan” (Don’t fear slow progress, just fear no progress).
Jan 7, 2009 - 5:13 pm 3. brian:I can support this effort.I cannot be there but i will spread the word.Thank you!
Jan 7, 2009 - 6:03 pm 4. bbloom:Yes, the site is active! I am so excited! We are not alone. I don’t know how I can get to DC, but I want to. We must stand up. It will become harder and harder. I know how to do this, and it is better then just sitting in a bomb shelter, like I did in the summer of 2006.
Jan 7, 2009 - 6:11 pm 5. diane:I looked at the dreary few pictures and it just seemed too sad to share. There is no drama, just anxiety. It is such a helpless feeling to see the elderly Russian Jews. How many bombs they have had to dodge in their lives? Still in Eretz Isael they shoot at us…
I am relieved that you have stopped including hateful comments on your site. There are plenty of them elsewhere.
Great idea! Too bad the secret service will never allow them anywhere near the parade. If they get a permit, it will be for a rally far away with no press coverage.
Jan 7, 2009 - 6:40 pm 6. Yehudit:website is back up.
Jan 7, 2009 - 6:47 pm 7. BL:Great post Phyllis. Diane, according to the invitation at the bottom of the post, they have a permit. It would be great if people could pull together and get transportation to this rally like they have to many others at the Mall in D.C. Need the grassroots to get going. Unfortunately, I too, fear that D.C. will be in a type of lock down mode for the inaugeration. No where to stay, traffic rerouted, but I’ll pray that many noble souls can traverse the obstacles and stand up for religous freedom and human dignity in the face of a brutish force that will stop at nothing to kill, maim, and injure, not just others but their very own people as well!
Jan 7, 2009 - 7:17 pm 8. makabit:I am making plans to be there. I must be there to represent my fellow brothers and sisters who are suffering in Israel and in other places. This African–American Jewish woman is ready, willing and able. See you in DC!
Jan 7, 2009 - 9:39 pm 9. val:I’ll be there!!
Jan 8, 2009 - 4:59 am 10. ali:and I plan on fowarding the details to the synagogues in Fairfax Va.

Jan 8, 2009 - 7:35 am 11. Michael T:A similar march is being organized in Toronto between the Jewish and Hindu population who will march in solidarity against Islamic terror.
Jan 8, 2009 - 8:07 am 12. India Israel, Hindu’s and jews join to oppose common enemy. | Vlad Tepes:[...] their logic is poor. The fastest way to unite a people is to attack them. Jan 8, 2009 - 11:30 am 13. Stephen Gash:The Coalition for Peace quote “The oldest traditions of the world, Hinduism and Judaism, are facing the biggest threat of our times in the form of Radical Islam. Today this problem threatens humanity itself. The brain washing of Islamic children with intolerant ideologies, is being funded by countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran. There is an urgent need to control the use of enormous oil revenues directed at efforts to Islamize the whole world.”
The Coalition for Peace is itself brainwashed. There is no “Radical” Islam there is only Islam. So said Prime Minister of Erdogan of Turkey and I agree with him.
Jan 8, 2009 - 11:35 am 14. TexasCowboy:This is a great idea, albeit a very aggressive one. While I believe in multi-tasking, we all do it; it seems to me there should be some prioritization.
Jan 8, 2009 - 1:22 pm 15. gary fouse:The media has had a field day with the coverage of the injured and killed Palestine. I hate it the cost of war and the loss of innocent life, but Hamas has been trying to do the same to Israel for years. It’s odd to me when George Bush invaded Iraq, we rarely ever saw pictures of the innocent dead children and innocent families, there were tens of thousands of them.
America has to stop funding these countries and spending taxpayer money in an attempt to buy peace. It has never worked and Americans are getting hosed in the process. I do support the Coalition for Peace and hoping it is a huge success!
How many words did that guy Ali spell correctly-7 or 8? You were wise to publish it Reut because it shows who the good guys are and who the bad guys are.

“think they want there ass to egt kicked,we RUELD THEM FOR 1000 years”
And very soon they are going to rule you. You lot are obviously incapable of ruling yourselves. You are just easy meat for them. Time to get ready to be Untouchable again.
Jan 8, 2009 - 4:46 pm 17. R.Sajan:Moslem terrorism is; primarily because the illicit state of Israel was created. If the Jews had ever been peace loving, there would not have been any Moslem terror, ever. Moslem terror is a direct result of Jewish terror. Hindus do not have anything to do with the origin of Moslem terrorism.
Hindus’ joining Jews to condemn Moslems is politically and philosophically, a suicidal step for the Hindus. Only Indian Hindus have to live with 20 crores of Moslems converted from Hinduism.
Jewish manipulation has succeeded in leading Hindus unto a trap. While the Pope has only dreams of catching the 800 million Hindus, the crafty Jews have managed it by fluke. Hinduism would regret the current initiative for all times to come.
Jan 8, 2009 - 10:34 pm 18. surabi:Sajan, I am an Indian Hindu and we need less cowardly nitwits like you; Did you know that around 1.8 million Jews (mostly sephardim) had to leave all their assets and just move to any country that would take them when Israel was created? No, you have’nt. Thats because they never complained. I am not afraid of protesting for just causes – the terrorists are pissed off anyway; this protest is against ‘Radical Islam’ NOT moslems. And this coalition makes sense because the pakistani cowards saw fit to torture and murder a young Jewish rabbi and his pregnant wife in Chabbad house in India, the origin of most of the world’s Hindus
Jan 9, 2009 - 4:49 am 19. hindu:To the clown who said “we” ruled “them” for 1000 years: you are a product of forced intermarriages..to put it mildly, boy. YOU are the product of slaves :> and still clinging to the religion and ways of your masters and pretending to be your masters. This is the equivalent of south african blacks getting uppity with OTHER blacks in africa, and considering themselves the “rulers”.
Jan 10, 2009 - 6:29 am 20. Jacob Dane:The Hindus, Buddhists, Christains, and Jews have all had enough of these 3rd world ugly muslim pedophiles, and now we will join together and get rid of this cancer which has adopted this theory of being the victim when they are truely the victimizers of this whole world.
Buddhist monks in thailand get beheaded, christain pastors in pakistan get beheaded, mumbai attacks in india leave 450 dead, twin towers in new york leave 4000 dead + no religion except Islam can grow in their own countries and people of other faiths are degraded and treated as second class citizens, this si the true face of islam
Jan 11, 2009 - 6:51 pm 21. S. G.:R.Sajan, its the cowardly stance of people like yourself that has empowered the radical Muslims to gain prominence and chutzpah. Hindus NEED to show solidarity and voice our opposition to terror. Review your history books, Sajan; Islamic terrorism existed PRIOR to the creation of Israel, or do you not recall the millions of Hindus that were forced to convert in order to avoid enslavement by the Mughal invaders?
The Hindu and Jewish cultures share several striking similarities and share a long-standing relationship of mutual respect and admiration. In fact, India is the only country where there was no instance of anti-semitism committed by the native population (Hindus), and Hinduism and Judiasm are both religions that do not actively convert or recruit adherents. It was only after the Portguese entered India did the country experience its first anti-semetic encounters (committed by the Portugese). Thankfully, these atrocities ended after the Portugese departed.
I for one am glad at this coalition, and support the denouncement of radical Muslims and radical Islam.
Jan 13, 2009 - 2:52 am 22. Shiva:We Hindus need to fly with the eagles (read Israel) in our dharmic war against Jehadi terror. Israel today is the only hope for the free world, as epitomized by their courageous one-man stance against the evil of Jehadi terror. Even the USA, the current leader of the free world, is hesitating and dithering to go all out on an enemy that is calling out for its total extirpation on almost a daily basis. The USA does not realize that this hesitation will prove suicidal to its own people in the long run. The US policy makers are forgetting their moral obligation towards the protection of its denizens against the evil machinations of Jehadi terror. And one do hope that the USA wakes up from this poisonous slumber induced by the hypnosis of powerful vested interests originating in the plush oil money of Saudi Arabia.. ARISE AWAKE AMERICA!!!!
Jan 14, 2009 - 11:38 pm 23. uma srinivas:I am glad to see Jews and Hindus coming together. Even Swami Dayananda Saraswati, a great Hindu saint, working hard to bring Jewish leaders and Hindu leaders together (visit http://www.frfnet.org). We share many (good and sad) things. Hindu Holocaust is bigger than Jewish holocaust during Islamic rule. We both do not believe in aggressive, forceful conversion like Islam and Christians. Both are old religions. Hindus always respect and accommodate other religions. India is the only country where Jews were not persecuted. Hindus never persecuted any religion. Even today Parses, Jews, Christians and Tibetans have been living peacefully for hundreds of years. Hindus never disturbed them. Time has come for us to hold each other hands and fight against radical Islam. Hindus have to learn lot of things from Jews. We need their help. I solute Jewish groups and their country leaders and citizens. Hindus have to come out and stand for Dharma. Lord Krishna taught Arjuna to do his duty. As a Kshtriya, Arjuna’s duty happened to be to fight with Kauravas to bring Dharma(righteousness)to the soceity. In a democratic countries like India, America and Isreal every citizen has a duty as a Kshatriya and fight for Dharma.
I will join the Washington DC rally.
Jan 15, 2009 - 8:06 am 24. Roberto Gomez:Hindu-Jewish and India-Israel-US/West unity needs to get stronger to destroy Islamic terrorism and it’s culture of hate completely. There is no negotiation with Islamists. They want to take over every land in the world and fill it with their dirty & hateful culture.
Jan 15, 2009 - 9:43 am 25. Tom:Hindus and Jews form a natural partnership. Both are a highly intelligent, industrious, and handsome people. Both have contributed greatly to the advancement of humankind for centuries. Both of these people have suffered immensely at the hands of Islam. May God bless Hindus and Jews in their combined struggle against Islam, the cancer of civilization.
May 1, 2009 - 11:06 am 26. Vivek Golikeri:That bufoon poster Ali has accidentally done a favor to the same people he attacks. By ranting like the vulgar *** he is, he has helped to illustrate what kind of ***civilized people are up against.
However, I need to state firmly that Islam as such is NOT our enemy. I know many Muslims who are lovely people, peaceful,law-abiding and productive. The enemy is theo-fascism, and terrorism is its instrument.
I am happy that Hindus and Jews are working together, and hope America wakes up to appreciate that dependence on Mideast and Venezuelan oil renders us weak toward the same who hate us. We need to develop America-originating sources of energy.
Yes, confiscate Saudi assets, and declare Pakistan a terrorist state. Support Israel in its desire to bomb the nuclear facilities of Iran and/or Pakistan. But we don’t want another Japanese-Americans shame on our national conscience.
Leave ordinary Muslim people alone, unless you have evidence that they are helping our enemies. If you have such evidence contact the FBI; do not try to be the law.
May 25, 2009 - 3:30 pm 27. Vivek Golikeri:R. Sajan accused Israel of having caused islamofascist rerrorism. Thank goodness for sensible Hindus like Surabi to tell him off. Israel has been Jewish since ancient Rome was still but a village on the Tiber. Telling Jews they have no business to be a state in Israel is like telling Hindus they have no right to pray in Benares.
I am sorry about the Palestinian refugees and their misery all these deacdes. Yet if oil-rich Kuwait and Saudi Arabia truly cared about them, they would long since have integrated them into various Arab countries. In many Arab countries, Arab Muslims born and raised there are denied citizenship because their father is from a different Arab country!
Lastly, as Surabi pointed out, Mizrahi Jews were equally driven or pressured out of Islamic lands as much as Arabs felt the need to flee Palestine in 1948. International Jewry have done a splendid job of taking care of their own. Arabs, meanwhile, pay lip service to the brotherhood of all Muslim believers —- and then treat other Arab Muslims shoddily.
