Shame on England for deporting Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders on February 12th of this year. Wilders had been invited by British Parliamentarians to show his film Fitna, and shame on Holland for putting Wilders on trial for having made this brief film which merely cobbles together some previously televised and video-ed clips of bloodthirsty jihadic (Muslim) mobs and jihadic acts of terrorism (9/11, 3/11, 7/7 etc.) coupled with statements from the Qu’ran. (See here for a link which will allow you to burn your own dvd of this brief film). You may also watch the entire film live at Robert Spencer’s Jihad Watch HERE.
Unlike Palestinian “faux-tography,” which shows us fake massacres and fake civilian injuries, Wilders has not fictionalized anything. He is showing us true events which we have seen many times before but this time he couples them with true and accurate statements of what Muslims are religiously commanded to do to infidels. Yes, I know, most Muslims are not this religious but they, the “moderate” Muslims, the “good” Muslims, do not challenge or stop the Muslims who are committing such barbaric deeds in the name of Islam. C’mon: Western liberals and leftists do not stop them either. In fact, they glorify and romanticize their “cleansing” deeds.
As I’ve said a thousand times since 2001: Telling such truths is not “racist.” Refusing to tell such truths is fake anti-racism, cheap atonement for past acts of racism, real racism—because refusing to tell the truth about Islam is usually accompanied by statements of hatred towards Jews and the Jewish state. Describing the truth as “racist” and then silencing and punishing those who tell it is always an act of appeasement by people who are terrified that the Muslim mobs might get them.
In these times, it is crucial to stand up and speak the truth. I applaud Rachel Ehrenfeld’s bold and brilliant stand on behalf of free speech for American authors; Daniel Pipes’s creation of a Legal Project for those who are legally threatened because they have told the truth and in so doing, have criticized Islam; and David Horowitz’s recent appeal on behalf of Joe Kaufman.
I challenge all the many True Believers in the First Amendment to stand up and be counted now. Tomorrow may be too late.

1. Fern Sidman:Dr. Chesler’s cogent arguments, relative to the rapidly escalating danger of radical Islam cannot be mentally or emotionally jettisoned by any rational thinking person.
Speaking the truth to the plethora of calumnies (directed against America and Israel) and being promulgated daily by the propaganda machines of hate filled Islamic movements as well as by the Saudi owned media must become a paramount priorty for all those who cherish freedom, democracy and justice.
I would like to proffer a suggesstion for those reading this blog who may live in or near the Toronto area. As Dr. Chesler mentioned, a person wearing a kippah was viciously and savagely attacked by the radicalized Palestinian student body at York University. This coming June, a conference is scheduled to take place in Toronto and is entitled, “Israel/Palestine: One State or Two?” It is being co-sponsored by Queen’s University and York University, and is an official U50 initiative, part of York University’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.
I understand from good sources that this conference will devolve into another Durban II; a classic hatefest directed at Israel, Jews and the principles of the Western world.
Thus far, to my knowledge only one Jewish organization has had the temerity to vocally oppose this event. Below, please click on this link for more information:

Anyone who agrees with the premise of this letter might want to consider getting involved in opposing it.
Feb 13, 2009 - 2:25 pm 2. Norman Simms:Dear Phyllis
You are utterly right. Each hour seems to bring further evidence of the collapse of the west’s integrity and sense of dignity, let alone its belief in its own principles and achievements.
The question remains, as I have said too often already, what can we do about it? I wish I knew.

George Jochnowitz:I don’t know whether or not this would work, but I think it might be a good idea for newspapers or magazines to print verses from the Koran—with no comment. Perhaps a magazine could serialize the complete Koran. Let the verses speak for themselves. I have read the Koran from cover to cover. It is a long and complex work, not always very readable, but if one believes it literally, word for word, it is logical that one would become an Islamist and not a moderate Muslim.

Pleeeease! This is a fairly easy question to answer. Your problem is probably due to the fact that you prefer to run from reality, and continue voting for liberal candidates. Am I right? We have no choice but to vote for center-right candidates and the occasional Joe Lieberman. As a general rule—you are helping the Islamic nihilists when you vote for a Democrat or “moderate” Republican.
Feb 13, 2009 - 5:42 pm 5. David:I’m more concerned with the lack of free speech afforded to Bishop Williamson.
The attacks and muzzling is a disgrace to the West.

Contrary to popular belief of using force, General Petraeus used reasoning in Iraq. And it still remains that there are moderates within Islam, and they must be fostered with equality for achieving peace.
If you get a chance, check out Tom Ricks book “The Gamble”.
He was on Charlie Rose last night, and will be available to view soon. Here’s the link:

Feb. 13th episode.
Also, the moderates are just as frightened as some of you are. Evident by this report:

There are people, just like you and me within Islam, even in Gaza. I think they deserve an even handed policing of the area in which they reside. The fact remains that Gaza’s like a hornets nest. Wonder why?
Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean I don’t want to see an end Islamic Extremism. I just think we should approach the problem in much the same way General Petraeus did.
If Iraq could be neutralized, so could the small district of Gaza, with the right approach.
Feb 14, 2009 - 3:24 am 9. Gail:Phyllis,
Where is Homeland Security? The more I read and find out about the Islamification of the West, the more I have to ask…Where are those who are suppose to be protecting we AMERICANS?
Why is it that the muslims can scream hate towards all infidels (proud to be one) while chanting over and over that Islam is a religion of peace? What peace? I do not see Islam as a peaceful religion at all. In fact, it appears to be more a religion of hate towards non-believers, women and free will! When will the world see what the agenda truly is in the West and other countries? I fear political correctness will bring down this nation if we do not stop thier motives in the West! I for one, do not want to live like the people in Europe are beginning to live…all because THEY CAVED to Islamic political correctness! Bull!
Look, we have a great Constitution and those things set forth by our founding fathers. There was much thought which went into this document and I for one, support these thoughts and freedoms given to us through them! In as much, I ask that all people recognize the importance of keeping our laws, OURS! We cannot cave to every radical group of imigrants which set root in our soil! I say, we must uproot them and send them back to where they would be far more happier. To a place where they are free to act like barbarians and kill thier women for just a thought! Any thought that does not line up with thiers is grounds for our death! In the eyes of those who follow Islamic ways! In as much, doesn’t this culture so collide with our basic beliefs that we cannot live together in peace? To me, the answer is NO!
When someone comes to this country, they usually assimilate! Not the muslims, they are here to assimilate us into Islamic religion and mindsets! Personally, I would never worship a prophet like muHAMmed as I totally think he was a fruit cake, a pedophile, a murderous conciousless man! Now, when you consider this prophet and his ways, you will see that everything we stand for, as a nation, is NOT what he/they stand for! We are opposites and can never mix with these ideologies!
To me, the world needs a good cleansing and if the radical islamists want to act and live like barbarians…then go back to the desert and and get them out of our country! NOW!
Homeland security should be gathering them by the thousands and withdrawing any citizenship they may possess. Why? Because they will never assimilate and they will continue to use our laws of freedom against us until all freedoms are gone! In as much, the wars are not in Iraq and Afghanistan! IT IS HERE! It is creeping into all aspects of our lives and this cannot happen! We are a free peoples and if Homeland Security, the FBI, the CIA and so forth do not stop this then we will lose this nation and the freedoms we have enjoyed since the Declaration of Independance was adopted.
I say, assimilate or, leave! If not, then let our courts set you outside this nation!
Feb 14, 2009 - 3:24 pm 10. Fern Sidman:Just to clarify my previous post, if anyone wishes to speak out against the upcoming conference (June 2009) at York University entitled “Israel/Palestine: One State or Two?” It is being co-sponsored by Queen’s University and York University, and is an official U50 initiative, part of York University’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. Feb 14, 2009 - 5:23 pm 11. James Hovland:This issue needs to be put into perspective. I’ll use California as an example, because that’s where I am. Adapt this perspective to your own area. What if Britain had agreed to give half of California to the Zionists for them to establish a “Jewish State”? Take note that prior to UN involvement the Zionist’s stated goal included all of California plus Nevada. Would Californians have agreed to the UN partitioning their land even if Nevada got to keep theirs? What if we didn’t and the Zionists took it by force anyway? What if when we resisted we were bombed by an advanced military, and then labeled as “terrorists” for fighting back? What if the world sat back and just let it happen? The high mountain desert where I am would be our occupied West Bank, and LA our war torn Gaza strip. How would you explain sanctions and occupation to your kids? What if a nation like America funded and supported it? How do you explain that? What about the displaced people from San Fransisco, Sacramento, etc, do they ever get to go home? Who would your kids blame for all of the undue hardships in their lives?
I wish for the best for all the Jewish people, but not at someone else’s expense. Israel’s identity as a “Jewish State” can not take priority over justice. It’s time for the world to stand up for Palestine, for justice, and the ‘Right of Return’. Peace comes first, it is the only possible path, the rhetoric has to end and the correct conditions created. To move forward, peace and security for all the people is the only correct answer. It’s time to set things straight, and make sure the whole situation is finally put into perspective. It’s time for peace, and we’re not backing down.
Feb 14, 2009 - 10:30 pm 12. Omar:James Hovland:
And what if the good folks in Nevada adhered to a doctrine that demanded acceptance, accommodation and submission to vicious, seventh century norms; What if they practice gender aparteid and have rules which said that anyone who practices or discusses their “non-Nevadan” religion too openly was to be killed along with all those who criticised it or apostasied from it. What if they dream of genocide and structured all their religious and political life around your submission and death. What if they had already largely cleansed their lands of Californians in overt obedience to these principles, and what if, wherever the Nevadans are the majority, they intimidate and harass their non-Nevadan neighbors such that they almost always seek to emigrate (while those who stay frequently find themselves embroiled in simmering – but lethal – civil wars that last for decades if not centuries). . . . How eager would you be for a “right of return?” for your Nevadan neighbors?
Feb 15, 2009 - 4:39 am 13. Omar:Continued . . . And finally (apropos of recent headlines dealing with a certain Dutch politician), what if, when the Nevandans are a minority in another land, some unknown number that probably approaches 50% will refuse to acknowlewdge any allegiance or authority vis a vis their home state, but will only show allegiance to a supranational body of “Nummah,” such that any time the feelings or norms of the Nummah are “offended” they hold their host country hostage with thinly veiled threats of violent protests such that any of your politicians or scholars who criticises the Nummah or its barbaric laws must live in safe houses, “secure undisclosed locations,” and/or pay for security details for the rest of their natural lives.
Once against, it begs the question . . .
Feb 15, 2009 - 7:21 am 14. Holy Cow What is Happenin:Omar,
Thank you for your brillant argument back to the deluded James Hovland. James Hovland is the enemy within…the most dangerous enemy we face.
Feb 15, 2009 - 12:19 pm 15. ahad ha'amoratsim:Leaving aside James Hovland’s nonsense recital, with its selective omission of crucial facts and twissting of others*, how telling that he justifies violence and terror against Jews, whether Israeli or not and whether in Israel or elsewhere, because of his distaste for Israel.
Thank you, Mr. Hovland, for proving the point.
* Just to even the mix, a bit, without correcting all of his nonsense– supposed that California, Mexico and Nevada were part of a large empire that had launched a war against much of the rest of the world. Suppose this empire contained quite a number of Jews who were considered second classs citizens of that empire, and many of whom lived in a historic Jewish homeland clustered along the California/Nevada border. Suppose it had not been Britain, but an international organization of the victors in that war who decided to establish a Jewish ethnic homeland in the area. Suppose the Jewish inhabitants had built up the agriculture and economy of the homeland, leading large numbers of Nevadans, Arizonans, Mexicans and Arizonans to flock there for economic opportunity.
Suppose I stop there, as trying to correct James Hovland’s misconcetptions by playing his silly game would take time away from more profitable pursuits, and he has already shown us who and what he is by saying that Israel’s supposed misdeeds are are the reason that Jew haters hate Jews.
Feb 16, 2009 - 11:11 am 16. Rick Tack:Mr. Hovland:
do you do speech-writing for a living by any chance…
Feb 18, 2009 - 1:19 pm 17. deguello:I find it profoundly ironic that the same Western countries that murder tens of thousands of viable female babies,(through late term abortion),should become so disturbed over this issue.
Mar 4, 2009 - 11:17 am 18. James Hovlande:Omar didn’t answer any of the questions I posed here because putting things into perspective destroys his position. Omar wasn’t here to help anyone understand the true nature of this conflict, but rather to simply support Israel position by “demonizing the enemy” just a little more. It’s always interesting to come back to the comments I’ve made and see how certain individuals have reacted. Omar is no exception.
To Rick or anyone else wondering about Rick’s question… No, I don’t write speeches for anyone. I do however appreciate the assumption because one of my goals is to not need anyone to write them for me.
