I can say in all honesty I’ve observed the exact same thing, but with the sides reversed. As an outsider I can say it’s truly amazing how the republican and democrats supporters mirror each other in so many respects. You just can’t see it from your opponent’s perspective, nor they from yours.

Both sides have trolls, idiots, and criminal activists. Try to stick to the issues if you can. Until someone produces some actual evidence that this guy’s behaviour was in any way condoned by the democratic party, it has no bearing whatsoever on the election. Except perhaps for what the use of a Yahoo account says about Palin’s judgement, but that’s really a separate topic.

Let me know how you feel some day if a President Obama and his Congress reverse course and allow plots to come to fruition. Hope you have the courage to say that to the families of the victims, you turd.

Name the violations of the innocent caused by the Patriot Act. Know anyone who the NSA snooped on? Bet you can’t name one. People like you have absolutely no clue as the kind of world we live in. Bristol Palin getting pregnant at 17 — disappointing, but not a crime. She is still a minor, but the age of consent in Alaska is 16, so no statutory rape occurred.

David Kernell getting into someone else’s e-mail without authorization at 20 — a crime. Try him as an adult, because he is one.

In neither case should we assume that the parents are not fit to do their jobs because of the actions of their children. If Mike Kernell is found to be complicit in his son’s criminal actions, though, that is a different matter.

RE: “official business” on Yahoo — that is something that Associated Press either made up deliberately, or fell into the trap of assuming that because the address is “gov.palin”, it was being used for official business. That is not true, and the evidence is what the hacker said himself. Remember, he said he found nothing he could use to attack her campaign with, and nothing more than “clerical” correspondence. And, as he also said himself, he was looking as hard as he could for dirt!

You can have pretty much any name you want on a Yahoo mail account. That doesn’t make it “official”.
