All this predatory government is moving much economic activity off the tax grid. Other forms of revolt will follow. The larger meaning of Obamanism is that the federal government, rather than surviving the coming collapse of the center-left culture, will probably collapse with it.

Our Omnicompetents in government will just say that what is going to happen is : “the movement of God througout the world, that is the State”*…and that to go againts what the Cmnicompetents will is to be againts God’s will.

Mr. Kimball, two amusing and not apocryphal Rockefeller anecdotes picked up during our times in Maine that lend credence to your post,

1. A guest to John D’s Seal Harbor summer cottage (circa WWI-ish) expressed surprise when seeing the Rockefeller children performing daily chores. John D. looked at his guest and said, “My children are not Vanderbilts.”

2. Soon after Martha Stewart purchased the old Ford estate in Seal Harbor, she went to pick up provisions at the Pine Street Market in Northeast. As usual there was about 15 deep for the registers. Martha cut right to the front of the line. Some of the customers openly objected. Martha turned and looked at them and said curtly, “I don’t wait in line.” A male voice from the end of the line piped loudly, “Really? I do.”

It was David Rockefeller.
