A search for the word “Cambodia” in The New York Times this morning came up empty ^[1]. In other words, it is not news to the putative newspaper of record that a man currently running for the most powerful position on Earth quite probably lied on the floor of the US Senate (and other places) about having been at war in that country.

I found no results for that word at the Washington Post ^[2] either. So it goes.
