They also mention that Burkett has displayed some signs of "instability" in the past. He now refuses to speak to reporters. Here's my theory: CBS delayed their response to the forgery charges, and it was a vague response, because Burkett was the source of the forged memo and today Burkett wouldn't speak to the CBS guys when they wanted to talk with him about the memo. If I'm right the story will break wide open in the next few days when CBS realizes that their source is leaving them hanging out to dry.
