As far as I know this was the first American program ever to take this former "oil-for-food" program director to task for his fatuous anti-Americanisms, other than when Claudia Rosett eviscerated him on the Charlie Rose show a few months back. Halliday resigned his position in late 1998, months after Savan signed on and, according to Rosett, after serious irregularities in the program were becoming evident. Wouldn't I love to know what he knows, our Quaker Irishman (more sanctimonious than the sanctimonious). I think that you should do something on this.Of course the ‘how-to’ is a triffle unclear.Since FOX is one of the few outlets seemingly interested in this story,perhaps they might be a source of information that they could not run with for any variety of reasons.

The unfortunate fact is that even if you were independently wealthy enough to do NOTHING but this,the network of contacts required is simply prohibitive.But stories like this really need a dedicated hand at the controls to ensure that the truth not only comes out but is broadcast to the world.
