1. Paul:

Allawi always reminded me of Tony Soprano.

Roger, I think someone has taken your hat.

For some odd reason, I think Allawi looks like Scalia. Now, THAT’S a conspiracy theory.

There’s also the mystery of how or why Thom Yorke of Radiohead and Vladimir Putin look so much alike. And was Dobby the House Elf based on Putin? Hmmm…

Jan 21, 2005 - 12:22 pm 4. Captain Analog:

Paul

Allawi always reminded me of Tony Soprano.

Same here, I guess that’s why I’ve never worried too much about his physical safety.

He really looks like someone who can take care of himself.

Jan 21, 2005 - 1:21 pm 5. bdog57:

Maybe shades of Danny Aiello in there, too?

Jan 21, 2005 - 1:58 pm 6. Terrye:

Well look at a map. Italy and Iraq are closer together than Miami and Seattle.

They probably share some DNA.

Jan 21, 2005 - 2:06 pm 7. triticale:

Like I tell my black neighbors when they mistake me for some other white guy, all those people look alike.

Jan 21, 2005 - 2:29 pm 8. Charlie (Colorado):

I note that Bertolucci just gave $6,500,00 to Thailand tsunami victims.

Anyone heard anything recently about Michael Moore contributing to the tsunami?

Okay, it’s sort of off the topic, but still….

Jan 21, 2005 - 3:06 pm 9. lindenen:

Berlusconi, not Bertolucci.

Jan 21, 2005 - 4:01 pm 10. richard mcenroe:

Here’s hoping Allawi has Berlusconi’s survivability…

Jan 21, 2005 - 5:20 pm 11. Fausta:

I can imagine all of them at a party, Allawi, Gandolfini, Bertolucci, Scalia and Berlusconi, wearing little name tags on their chests so they could tell each other apart.

Jan 21, 2005 - 5:39 pm 12. Charlie (Colorado):

Dammit, I really hoped to post my own correction before someone else got to it.

Jan 21, 2005 - 5:41 pm 13. PJ:

Is it just me? These people move me to tears.

Jan 21, 2005 - 7:12 pm 14. DennisThePeasant:

Spooky.

Kinda like me and Karl Rove.

Jan 21, 2005 - 8:08 pm 15. Macker:

Not so bad as Gollum and James Carville!

And Warner Bros.’ depiction of Dobby the Elf pissed off enough members of the Russian Duma!

Jan 21, 2005 - 8:48 pm 16. Yehudit:

“Is it just me? These people move me to tears.”

Me too.

Jan 21, 2005 - 9:47 pm 17. Beto Ochoa:

Amazing likeness.

If you need a scare put pictures of Michael Moore and Bruce Vilanch next to each other.

Jan 22, 2005 - 11:59 am 18. richard mcenroe:

Beto รณ But Vilanche has to be in costume for “Hairspray” or you don’t get the full resemblance…
