Will the Dartmouth Mafia Step Up?

Although I am a devoted reader of the Volokh Conspiracy, it took Instapundit ^[1] to point the way to a post there announcing the candidacy of one of their contributors, Todd Zywicki ^[2], for Trustee of Dartmouth College. Weirdly, there is an odd confluence of blogosphere personalities — the three high-powered gentlemen of Power Line ^[3], your not-so-humble servant and “famous commenter” and now best-selling author Catherine Johnson ^[4] — who are alums of the “College on the Hill.” Perhaps we could get something going for Mr. Zwywicki. I’m in.

UPDATE: Undergraduate support here ^[5]. Is this a harbinger of blogging as a new entry point to univeristy Board of Trustees? [Not if they don't contribute a lot.-ed.]
