This will probably smell of a very Old World morality here, but Marianne, after the horrible death of her husband, moved to help Jordan to break up his a marriage. Though I can imagine extenuating circumstances, the fact remains.

OK, thank God Susan’s out of it. I have got to think that Jordan was on his way out of his marriage anyway, and now he is gone. Better to get it over with than wait through years of fooling around and excuses.

By all means, letís the Euros block some Hollywood films. The end result will be that those ìallowedî on Euro market will quadruple their profits. Only somebody subjected to such quota system can understand the yearning for the filmmaking craft of Hollywood.

Well, then, I assume that Ms. Shue will be quitting Hollywood and taking an office job. Otherwise, she’s quite the lil’ hypocrite, isn’t she?

Incidentally, I don’t recall any stories about Hollywood goon squads forcing people in other countries into the theatres to watch the latest from Paramount – rather, people willingly line up to see the latest Tom Cruise flick.

Isn’t it frustrating when the lumpen proletariat won’t listen to their intellectual betters?

Ya know, this could very well explain Jordan’s indiscretion. Can’t just see it? The guy plays footsie with Sharon prior to Davos, and then there she is, all beautiful and blonde, out there in the audience. She’s hot, she’s liberal, she hates the war. Little head shoves big head aside. Little head swells, shoves its hands down the front of its tight Levis (just behind the big rodeo buckle), tosses a macho shrug, and says, “The military is deliberately targeting journalists, just murdering them.”

Sharon smiles. Barney’s mouth drops open. Gergen’s eyes bug out. A blogger slips out of the room, hoping for a nearby wi-fi connection…

Hollywood doesn’t need these goon squads because they outsource this task to the Ronald McDonald Brigade to do when they aren’t busy making the French eat Big Macs.
