While most of us are looking at the Middle East…

The Bad Hair Blog reminds us that “the Bolivarian revolution will be televised.” Unfortunately, the Hugo Awards will not be for science fiction this time.

Thank you Roger!

Hugo was partying with Middle-Easteners, though, back in April in Havana, and in Brazil at the Latin-Arab Summit.

And now he wants to have his own TV station to broadcast through Latin America. Will it have Bolivarian telenovelas?

Trouble brewing on the southern front. A leftist econo-idiot is about to be elected president of Mexico. Honduras’s government is rife with narco-terrorists. Chavez is arming to the teeth his partisans and making overtures to every dictatorship and terror group who will take his calls.

Normally, all of this would be a nuisance at most, but it won’t be long before Chavez and Al Qaeda come together to enable each others’ agendas. They’re not stupid. They can do the equation: US open southern border + massive illegal immigration + easy access to automatic weapons = US version of Beslan.

All it takes is 10-15 jihadists with small arms to kill hundreds at a go. Coming soon to a school or mall near you.
