The insanity-from-bad-hair defense!

May 24, 2005 - 11:11 am 2. charlotte:

How can Phil plea temporary insanity, now, when it’s obvious he’s afflicted with permanent madness?

May 24, 2005 - 11:26 am 3. Buddy Larsen:

(Be my, be my hairdo) Be my little hairdo!

(Be my, be my hairdo) Be my hairdo now-ow-ow!

May 24, 2005 - 11:37 am 4. PeterUK:

Phil’s too old to be dating a hairstyle that young.

May 24, 2005 - 12:31 pm 5. Silicon valley Jim:

In Nice Guys Sleep Alone, Bruce Feirstein wrote “middle-aged adolescence is not a pretty thing.” Other than the fact that Phil Spector, at sixty-four, doesn’t qualify as middle-aged (at least in my book), I think that that applies here.

May 24, 2005 - 12:33 pm 6. Knucklehead:

Oh, Buddy, that hurt!

To echo SVJ hollywood is the only place in the world where a old man can pretend he is still 21 and have no one tell him how foolish he is.The emporer’s new hair.

May 24, 2005 - 12:58 pm 8. Vexorg:

Guess he figured it must have worked for Don King…

May 24, 2005 - 1:44 pm 9. Buddy Larsen:

…and THIS guy.

May 24, 2005 - 3:12 pm 10. PeterUK:

I take it back,it is apparently a new anti-gravity cranial support unit for the geriatric which abolishes the need for a walking frame. It makes one walk like a character from International Rescue but it does leave the hands free.

May 24, 2005 - 4:20 pm 11. charlotte:

That’s a terrific explanation, Peter UK! And here I thought he just may be using the same Hollywood hairdresser as

Phyllis Diller and Art Garfunkel.

May 24, 2005 - 4:45 pm 12. charlotte:

Previewed just fine!

Phyllis Diller and Art Garfunkel.

May 24, 2005 - 4:47 pm 13. charlotte:

Why are the links working in Preview but not when they post? Maybe I could use that cranial support geriatric hair gizmo, too

May 24, 2005 - 4:51 pm 14. Buddy Larsen:

Charlotte, what happened is the spirit of Harpo leaped from my link and took over your computer. Honk Honk !!!

May 24, 2005 - 5:20 pm 15. PeterUK:

Charlotte,

Did you turn the anti-gravity shield on your computer? That is quite a powerful unit Phil is wearing.

May 24, 2005 - 5:22 pm 16. Buddy Larsen:

You’re right, Peter, all those songs were hits because of our powerful units.

May 24, 2005 - 5:43 pm 17. richard mcenroe:

Phil Spector? One visit to Huffington and you’re blogging on Phil Spector? That woman is dangerous!

May 24, 2005 - 5:56 pm 18. charlotte:

Thanks for the advice, Buddy and Peter, but I can barely work the CD player on the PC, never mind the anti-Harpo-gravity devices. I must be having a bad hair day/life like Phil. I thought Preview was my friend… it hurts so much.

May 24, 2005 - 6:06 pm 19. Buddy Larsen:

Just remember, “No pain, no pain!”

May 24, 2005 - 6:15 pm 20. Richard Nieporent:

Actually it is not anti-gravity that is doing it but rather this device.

May 24, 2005 - 7:24 pm 21. Buddy Larsen:

that guy looks revolted

May 24, 2005 - 7:39 pm 22. PeterUK:

But why would Phil want a Van De Graff Generator,he wasn’t into their music?
