Happy Birthday, Madeleine! And good luck to you and your wife, Roger. Watching twenty small girls is no walk in the park, regardless of what Dr. Brazelton may say. It’ll be exhausting, but it’ll be fun.

Children are indeed a blessing.

More like it’s time to run for the hills (Beverly Hills, that is, swimmin’ pools, movie stars).

(seriously now) Happy Birthday, Madeleine, and many, many more. And may I say, you get a great draw in the parents sweepstakes.

(Happy birthday to you, too, rharvier.)

Happy Birthday, Madeleine!

You have the same name and are the same age as my dear niece (though she’s turning eight in about a month)!

Have a great day!

(And happy birthday to you, too, rharvier!)

She is the most adorable little Daddy’s girl! You go and have yourself a ball. It may be hard work (for Mom!), but it will be worth it. Have a great day.

Jun 18, 2005 - 11:40 am 11. Rosemary:

Happy Birthday to you, Madeleine! May God watch over you all the days of your life.

Happy Birthday, Madeleine…and rhavier!

Madeleine’s so precious–she has Roger’s bright, intelligent eyes.

Enjoy the day, Roger, as hectic as it might be and take lots of pictures.

These birthdays seem to fly by and she won’t be 7 long…Celebrate, rejoice and give thanks.

And as Rosemary said, may God bless and watch over you and your family all the days of your life, as the Bible says, “your going out and your coming in.”

Happy birthday Madeleine!

As for the twenty girls–my recollections are of parties with boys, since I have a son (the unisex party times were over by seven, as I recall–to be revived, of course, many years later). I never was brave enough to have twenty little boys at a time, though! It was wonderful, but grueling, grueling.

Roger,

I have a daughter, Jordana who will be turning 7 in September. So I relate to your joy. Happy Birthday to Madeline.

Madeleine, You’re cute as a bug and a smart kid to be watching that toucan beak near your insect. Happy B-Day!

No doubt Madeleine is brilliant enough to get that. (I had to read it twice, tho’.)
