Why wait? Get a laptop or notebook that runs Windows XP. Prices have come down so much, it's worth having both.

This is doesn't appear to be real time. Does anyone know how it works.

Thanks for the temptation, Roger. Like Jamie, I have to wait for the Mac version. Question is, how long will it take 'em to come out with it?

Ahhh. So near, yet so far away.

*sigh*

This is all the rage in our office here in Tokyo. We spent a lot of time checking out our manufacturing plants (and those of our overseas suppliers), flying around Mt. Fuji, etc. Oddly, the 3-D of the Japanese mountains is a lot better than the Rockies. Yesterday I was showing my little boy some of the buildings where I lived and worked while in the Army many years ago. Even the jump towers can be seen at Ft. Benning. Cool. If you want something similar that will take you into space, download Celestia.

I liked it so much I tried to buy "Google Earth Plus," but it's not yet available...
