		<description>I read recently that Reuters outsources heavily because they are financially hurting. A hefty percentage of their journalists/stringers are the locals. It&#039;s reflected in the quality and the biases.

They are literally a Third World news organization with fourth rate news at this point in time.

They can&#039;t go broke fast enough.

		<description>ìI&#039;m pretty socially liberal and sometimes the Christian right gets on my nerves. But I listen to them and respect their opinion as their honest beliefs. But I will vote with them and take their side and not give a rip even if Bush were to stuff the SC with the most &#039;insert appropriate adjective here&#039; judges he can find. Because I will never ever again vote for a Democrat!î

Syl,

You describe my feelings precisely. The funny bit is that one can discuss controversial issues with people who are more (traditionally) conservative than I am. It is impossible to do so with so-called liberals. So screw them. Now that I am card carrying Republican, I fill out all sorts of questionnaires about policy issues and I feel that I have some tiny influence on party platform after all.

(Heather,

Just so you know, I have it from an impeachable source that Perveew works for Al-Queda. He is not, most emphatically, your friend.)

		<description>&quot;The video&#039;s theme was what Israel would be like in 10 years,&quot; said an Israeli government official who attended the party and viewed the video....

The party included guests from the BBC, ITN, the Independent newspaper, and French journalists.

&quot;They all thought the video was hilarious,&quot; the official said. He added that only a few individuals did not seem amused during the screening.

&quot;They were laughing; they thought it was very funny,&quot; he said.

.............

Any bets on the punchline of their hilarious joke? &quot;Ten years! Ha ha! Israel - Judenrein! Ha ha!&quot;

These people make me sick.

		<description>Do you think the left side of the blogosphere would ever comment on something like this? They won&#039;t even bother to find an anti-Bush angle. They just don&#039;t care.

I&#039;ve been utilizing memeorandum lately and have discovered something I already knew but was shocked anyway because it&#039;s right there for all to see.

When an article which may be great for the Dems is commented on, it&#039;s the Left side of the blogosphere that comments. Same the other way for the Right side. Where true controversy exists, the article is commented on by blogs of both sides.

Not a problem, and perfectly understandable because what I&#039;m referring to above concerns domestic political issues.

Where it gets dicey and shows me the Left is totally uncurious about what is happening in the world and/or the war is that articles concerning foreign issues are rarely commented on by the Left side of the blogosphere at all! Unless there is an obvious slam Bush angle. But even then fewer Lefty blogs seem to participate than participate in commenting on domestic issues.

Then take something as important as the recent PEW poll which showed support for bin laden and suicide bombing dropping drastically in much of the muslim world and the ONLY commenters were from the right side. WTF? Perhaps a few from the Left side have weighed in by now, but it was such a glaring example.

Do they have to wait until somebody figures out an anti-Bush angle to the good news?

It&#039;s frankly sick, apalling, and frightening. I&#039;m pretty socially liberal and sometimes the Christian right gets on my nerves. But I listen to them and respect their opinion as their honest beliefs. But I will vote with them and take their side and not give a rip even if Bush were to stuff the SC with the most &#039;insert appropriate adjective here&#039; judges he can find. 		<description>&quot;Reuters would like to make it clear that it is not associated with any group or faction in any conflict.î&quot;

Well, I guess it doesn&#039;t HAVE to be, officially, that is. In fact, that is the word left out of the &quot;statement&quot;:

&quot;Reuders would like to make it clear that it is not OFFICIALLY associated with any group or faction in any conflict YOU JEW HATING IMPERIALIST PIGS.&quot;
