story.cctv1.ap.jpgSeeing one of the would-be terror bombers from the recent London misfire in a “New York” sweatshirt tells me we maybe be moving into a scary new phase – religious psycho killers disguised in the costume of the society they claim to hate. If this continues, people are going to start listening seriously to the director of Death Wish.

Do we remember a few months when the Western media was decrying that London had all these surveillance cameras?

While they were using such words as outrage, snooping, illicit, big brother, 1984ish, Orwellian; maybe they should start writing about bringing these monsters to justice.

I read this article, and the ‘usual suspects’ from that peaceful but misunderstood religio-socio group were very concerned that the police had perhaps adopted a shoot to kill policy. Golly can’t understand whatever might have motivated such an un-PC decision.

I can only say— I bloody well hope so. If not now, when ? If you want to support either actively or passively the idea that it is just good clean fun to blow yourself up as long as you take some of the infidels with you, then you must be prepared for all the consequences that flow from that decision. This is a consequence.

Time to drop the cricket bat and pick up the ever useful semi-auto. The police have a duty to defend the rights of the peaceful citizen. If doing that requires extreme prejudice against possible jihadis then so be it. When the police say STOP, you had best STOP.

At least one of the four responsible for last week’s bombings looked Black. Similarly one of the four pictured as the culprits in this week’s bombings also looks Black.

I wonder if this is a deliberate attempt to confuse racial profilers or is further proof that our prisons are hatcheries for terrorists and their new recruits aren’t necessarily Arabs or even natives of traditional Muslim countries, but home grown Brits and/or Americans who are so full of self-hate they are willing to blow themselves up if they can take some innocents along with them.

Our prisons must be controlled so there is no proselytizing among the inmates. Let the ACLU and the rest of the leftoids jump up and down and turn blue if they want, but we can’t allow so-called mullahs and imams to conduct classes in terrorism in the guise of prayer to Allah.

If it comes to it, discontinue all religious from prison except to conduct services in public monitored by prison personal where there is no personal contact between those conducting the services and the prisoners.

It’s the natural and almost inevitable progression, I think. Even the 9/11 terrorists had instructions on how to blend in better (shave their beards, etc.) It makes sense that the terrorists are now purposely recruiting people of other ethnic origins to better evade detection. And Palestinian bombers have “evolved” in different ways to attempt to outwit the Israelis–thus, the increased use of woman and baby carriages and children.

If anyone here is familiar with the science fiction story “Second Variety” by Philip K. Dick, the evolution of the killer robots in the tale followed a similar progression. For some reason, terrorists have always brought that story to mind for me (it made a deep impression on me as a child–the stuff of nightmares).

i’m hearing that the shot-suspect was shot “5 times in the head“, and that eliminates him from even getting ‘one Virgin in Heaven‘, under Islamism. Such inhumane brutality by the British security personnel will only cause more Terrorism. ;)

Nontheless, sure is nice to see the MF running away.

What a bunch of Impotent Same Sex Pedophiliac LOSERS. Can’t even pull off a simple subway job? All Allah will provide them is 72 blow up dolls…punctured ones at that, made of pigskin.

(oops, did I just incite them? Am I worse than than the War in Iraq now?)

These are essentially amateurs, my friends. Some innocents will die, but they will backfire much more often as the clamp down continues, saving the British police’s precious bullets.

The political wing has made its demands,http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/articles/PA_NEWA1320651122037874A00?source=PA%20Feed

It was only a matter of time.

The standard sidearm for the police is the the Glock 17,five rounds of 9mm seems a little gratuitous, perhaps it was the officers lucky number.

Though I am not convinced that a non-expert witness taken by surprise would be that certain of the number of shots heard.

The terrorists took up Red Kens logic. He has been rationalizing and giving indirect rhetorical support for the suicide bombers in Israel for so long they just followed Red Kens logic and decided to use the same tactics against Ken’s people. I bet they could take some of his words and just substitute Britain for Israel and read his own words back to him to rationalize their behavior in London.

Kevin ,

This is standard Islamofascist strategy, the conflict is to be made worldwide, they wait until the Muslim population reaches critical mass in a country then claim any affront to any Muslim anywhere is a capital offence.Demands are made,if these are acquiesced to more demands follow, then attacks.Slowly appeasing Islam becomes the sole concern for the host country. One has only to look to Thailand, unfortunately the British are not Buddhists.

Jul 22, 2005 - 1:06 pm 10. lindenen:

God. I remember visiting London in 92 and the tour guide was so smugly proud that London’s police had no need of sidearms. When did they finally get guns? From reading about the crime rates, I’ve known for awhile that they must be using them, but when did the policy change?

Just because they’re black doesn’t mean they were recruited in prison. They could have been recruited by their neighbor or be a Muslim from Africa or whose parents are from Africa.

Jul 22, 2005 - 1:07 pm 11. John Moore ( Useful Fools ):

In civilized London where armed self defense by a citizen is illegal, a person under surveillance wearing a very heavy coat who refused to stop was executed by police. Executed with no weapon actually visible. You can’t lose more civil liberties than that! And the police were probably right to do so.

US Civil Libertarians are still screeching about minor affronts to privacy (police access to library records, for example). They don’t get it.

Terrorism is killing privacy, and will continue to do so until most privacy from police eyes will disappear.

The civil libertarians in the US fail to understand that by never yielding an inch, they will lose a whole lot when we again come under attack. Nobody will take them seriously, with the result that perhaps some useful insight will be lost.

In London, the next step has happened – they have a vast network of cameras, so “hoods” are wearing, literally, hoods when they do mugging (and in the future, probably terrorism). I predict it will soon become illegal if not fatal to hide your face. It is already fatal to run from police wearing too heavy a coat.

Hi there, long time no read.

Yep, they said stop he did not stop and they shot him. And ofocurse the Muslims are snippy about it. I guess they and their hero Red Ken should have thought about that before they started blowing people up.

I told somone once that the British will take so much and then they will go off on them.

I really can’t stand that old commie Mayor in London. I know he does not like Americans, but take it from this Yank: the feeling is mutual. Guys like him have allowed these people to think that murder is an appropriate form of political discourse. Well, look where that got him. And despite what he may believe I don’t think that young British Muslims should be allowed to dictate either for their own government or the people of Iraq who they would rather see dead than democratic.

Roger,

FYI, his shirt actually says “New You”, not “New York”. I know it’s hard to tell from that picture.

It’s some trendy clothing phrase.

Jul 22, 2005 - 2:43 pm 14. Kyda Sylvester:

Peter, from your link:

Massoud Shadjareh, chair of the Islamic Human Rights Commission, also called on the Government to take responsibility for creating the “political environment” in which these attacks have happened.

He said: “Now we know this wasn’t a one-off, we need to look at ways of addressing the underlying factors that created it. I feel it’s urgent to start addressing these before there is further loss of life.”

Call me paranoid, but that sounds like a threat to me. How are your fellow citizens reacting to such statements? What percentage would you say agrees, or at least sympathizes, with these sentiments? And how the heck are you all doing?

Call me a cowboy, but I would like to see Great Britain restore its citizens’ gun and aggressive self-protection rights. I would like to see all pilots, world-wide, armed. I would like to see right to carry laws in all 50 states. In open societies, our governments can protect us only so far.

Call me a paranoid cowboy Yankee fan, but please, somebody, tell me that’s just a generic “New York” shirt.

Jul 22, 2005 - 2:43 pm 15. Kyda Sylvester:

Jul 22, 2005 - 2:48 pm 16. PeterUK:

Kyda,

No that was a plea for understanding,we will only get bombed for not understanding.

Unfortunately this is a culmination of the British people getting pissed off for several decades, those in the middle classes will leave, the progressive submissives will submit and the chavs will tear the country apart.

Blair is petrified of a reaction from those he has ground down in the name of multiculturalism, the bomber was shot because he is frightened what the |british will do if does nothing.

“Blair is petrified of a reaction from those he has ground down in the name of multiculturalism, the bomber was shot because he is frightened what the British will do if does nothing.“—Peter UK

I thought that the bomber(or potential bomber) was shot because he refused a direct police order, ran when pursued, was dressed oddly for July, and was under suspicion in the first place.

Oh and last but not least was a member of a ‘likely’ group.

Are you saying that this was just pre-emptive PR dribbling down from the PM’s office?

“Whats Next?” Eygpt. But they didn’t invade Iraq. So what. The terrorists will have thousands of reasons. Past behavior, future behavior, having relations with another country that has transgressed, just because they have eroticized death. And of course not killing all Jews with enough fervor. If Britain had not joined in the invasion it would have got nailed for the Balfour treaty.Or some artist will make a heritical movie or write a bad book. Kill them or submit.this is not for all Muslims but just those who belong to or support the Islamo fascists. These are the choices. They won’t quit until they get what they want. What they want it not compatible with the 20th,21st,or even the 18th century. they are very clear in stating their goals so no one has the “Well, I didn’t know” excuse.

I am so sick of these morons. In case the British imam has not noticed most of the people doing the killing in Iraq are Muslims as are most of the people doing the dying. We do clean up.

I hear there was three minutes of silence in Iraq this week in which tens of thousands of Iraqis stood in silence for the people who have been killed by the kind of wackos the imam wants us to understand. I doubt very much if he even acknowledged this much less paid respect to it.

Of course if they were good Muslims they would welcome the oppurtunity to be vaporized or dismembered by the brave martyrs of Allah.

sorry. I am just sick of this crap.

Today I heard some Sunni from Saddam’s home town saying the Americans could leave because they were all Muslims in Iraq and they could take care of themselves. you betcha.

I am tired of the phrase ’simmering resentment’. If they resent us the best way to get us off their asses is to stop blowing things and people up. It ain’t rocket science.

Jul 22, 2005 - 5:00 pm 20. PeterUK:

Dougf,

No but the new rules of engagement are, despite the british Army having been in Iraq from the outset, the Bali and Madrid bombings ther has never be the authority to shoot, because the Muslim vote is too important to the Labour government.Consider the use of the ICC Act to prosecute soldiers that Blair had sent to do the dirty work, the Religious Hate Speech laws being rushed onto the Statute book.

The RoP was also one of those wonder groups that were going to lead us all into a wonderful multicultural Europe,as such no doubt was permitted. As in America, the progressive submissives were allowed to subdue any aboriginal culture.

Now Tony rules by focus group and the word on the street is that the British are mightily pissed, hence his plea for calm to a people that wasn’t contemplating doing anything.

Hence Tony had to give the natives something, even though a rabid Imam will be allowed entry to this country,as have many of his creed, much to the chagrin of those who pay his salary.

My point that much of this could have been prevented if the RoP had noy been regarded as a protected species.

What’s next? Egypt indeed, Kevin.

They’re attacking our allies and will, I predict, attack us within a year in the US. These are all their hail mary passes, so I think the big confrontation is coming, to force us out of the Middle East or into war.

Jul 22, 2005 - 6:18 pm 22. Erik:

Well, there has just been a bombing in Egypt:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,163412,00.html

This happens to be a very popular resort for Swedish people to go on vacation. It’s not yet clear if the target was Egypt, or the Swedish tourists…

Otherwise Sweden looks more and more in turn:

http://www.thelocal.se/article.php?ID=1775&date=20050722&PHPSESSID=148c64d60ccf79fb52520c78b4dca1e7

This guy has two families, and no job. He’s supported by the swedish welfaresystem, but still managed to take a 2 months vacation to the USA a while back.

I also read the origanal Swedish article:

http://www.expressen.se/index.jsp?a=408031

The english version misses the full quote, he says that Sweden is *not yet* a target, but that can change if situation for muslims dont improve.

And of course, if he is turned over to England or USA, Sweden will become a prime target…

Roger:

There is always a reason given for acts that are just below any notion of civilzed behaviour.Even when discussing forms of war. If one “root cause” is eliminated another is substituted for it.

I have always believed that the settlements in Israel were a huge mistake and Israel has payed dearly for them. I am not from the Israel is perfect and never make mistakes school. And of course whenever the conflict is discussed the root cause mentioned the most is the Settlements. But what was the attitude and stated goal of 95% of the middle East governments towards Israel before the settlements/ The total destruction of Israel.

Another ‘root cause that is mentioned is the areas taken after the 1967 war. But what was the stated goal of the Middle east before the 1967 war towards Israel? Her total destruction. The other day in the LAT there was an article taken from the Guardian regarding Israel. “Sharon’s provacative withdrawl from Gaza’ was actually written down. What? This of course was one of the “root causes” and now withdrawl from Gaza is considered provacative. The goal posts keep changing. If anyone thinks withdrawl from Iraq will solve anything and stop the terrorist bombings they just have not been paying attention.

Jul 22, 2005 - 9:38 pm 26. kcom:

Driving home from donating blood (actually platelets) at the Red Cross I heard the news on the radio regarding the bombings in Egypt. I found myself for the first time in this whole sequence of events of the last four years just shouting out loud “F___ you!” over and over.

Partly it was directed at the losers who decided to wantonly take yet more human life but more of it was directed at the morons on our side who still can’t see we’re in a f___ing war. Why can’t they get it? It’s not about Iraq or Afghanistan or any particular policy. It’s a freakin’ war.

Someone needs to slap them repeatedly until they wake up. Caving in to terrorists, withdrawing from Iraq and leaving the people there to be enslaved again, doing anything that would give the terrorists hope or encouragement is a grave and potentially mortal mistake. As Al-Qaeda adds more and more countries to its attack list how can anyone pretend it’s about Iraq. Try telling the dead people from 9/11 it was all about Iraq even though Iraq hadn’t happened yet. Try telling the people in southern Thailand getting bombed out of their homes that somehow it’s all because of Iraq.

What it’s about is an insane and voracious ideology of backwardness and inhumanity that’s completely antithetical to almost all the values we – whether we’re Republicans, Democrats, Labourites, Tories, or any other person who really believes in democracy – hold dear. If you don’t think an ideology like that is worth standing up against then I would feel pity for you if what you were doing wasn’t so dangerous. Instead I’m feeling something closer to contempt.

One of those British muslim leaders is quoted as saying that if the UK would withdraw from Iraq the threat of terrorism would go down to practically zero. Again I ask, what of 9/11, what of Bali, what of the first attack on the World Trade Center, what of all the other outrages that predated Iraq? Has he been asleep the last 15 years? In my mind, withdrawing from Iraq might reduce the risk of terrorism an incremental amount. But I don’t find comfort in a risk that’s reduced from 98% to 96%, especially at the expense of the enslavement of 25 million people who deserve much better.

Jul 22, 2005 - 9:48 pm 27. PeterUK:

There i s no upper limit to the provocation that the RoP will find and there is no lower limit to how far we will have to abase ourselves.Once this is realise the rest is simple.

As much as I would like to present the image of a covert man with my moles spread all over the world feeding me info on the red line the answer is far more mundane. I was reading and as usual had the radio on in the backround. Hugh Hewitt flashed the news(you know, that non-MSM news that is always a step behind their smarter and J-school trained superiors) and began talking to people familar to the area. I went inside and checked CNN and Fox and it was 20 to 30 minutes before either one said a word about it.Once again the non-traditional media was ahead of the old stlye media. Maybe those old boys should try out that cat food thing.
