Tryanny, on the other hand, is easy. Just hunker down and do what you’re told, when you’re told, and hope nobody selects you as the one to make an example of.

I find that as time goes by in its inexorible way, that this particular dish is becoming more and more tasty.
I put this down to the times in which we live and the creatures who clearly appear to deserve ill fortune.

They drive customers and advertisers toward the blogosphere with their refusal to acknowledge the bias and arrogance of their organizations. Again this past week, Paul Krugman was exposed for manipulating facts. Was there a quick retraction and correction? Nope! Business as usual. This model worked fine when there was no alternative, but the public wants it facts straight. They are very forgiving of honest mistakes promptly corrected, but very harsh on the Rather’s, Raines’and Eason Jordan’s of the world.

On the other hand, the search function (using ‘Afghanistan’ as the key) at Pinch’s rag provides wire service accounts containing the word Afghanistan – but little on the election, and nothing first hand.
“All the news that fits your views”, Pinch, means you need to lay in a larger stock of pink slips – soon.
