I&#039;ve been posting on this issue, but the EU is another name for gentle fascism, suffocating rules, or whatever else you want to call it. 		<description>Mountain View&#039;s city government is already complaining that they won&#039;t be collecting property taxes, since the site is on federal land.  As far as I can tell, it hasn&#039;t occurred to them that every home within five miles of Nasa Ames (including mine) just increased in value, and they&#039;ll be getting more property taxes when any of them sells, nor that employing a few thousand people might be good for a city in which commercial and R&amp;D space are still running 15% to 20% vacancy rates.
