From the AP: A Texas oil mogul and two Swiss business executives were charged Friday with paying millions in kickbacks to Saddam Hussein’s regime in the latest indictment to come out of the U.N. oil-for-food scandal.
Oscar S. Wyatt Jr., founder and former chairman of Coastal Corp., was arrested at his home in Houston. The U.S. government was seeking the extradition of oil traders Catalina del Socorro Miguel Fuentes and Mohammed Saidji from Switzerland.
And on it goes. I know what you’re all asking – why didn’t Saddam cut me in? Well, next time have a seat on the Security Council and you’re a sure winner.

Did you see the part where it says that he accused Bush of using soldier’s blood for oil? Also the part where he escorted out human shields after meeting with Saddam?
Is he related to the Wyatt that was involved with Fergie?
Gossip-I know but something, anything to get the stupid press interested.
And the Swiss….at least they are letting the US extradite them.

Former CNN Watcher:It would be poetic somehow if fugitive US financier Marc Rich (now in hiding in Europe) who was pardoned by Bill Clinton on Clinton’s last day as President for among other things trading with Saddam’s Iraq in violation of UN sanctions and US law, is involved in the Oil for Food payoffs.
Any info on that?

Just do a Google (or other) search on the phrase: “Marc Rich” Iraq . (The quotation marks force the engine to keep the words within them together.) You’ll be amazed (all right, you probably won’t be) at what it generates.
