If I were Phil Angelides…

I’d fire Bob Mulholland. Fast.

This is just strange. Like this is really a critical campaign issue. Bob you dropped an o from your name.

Nah – keep ‘em. He’ll suck down some of that bureaucrat union cash in Angelides’ pocket. Not that Arnie is doing much against them, but at least he tries occasionally.

Another fine example of the nuanced, intellectual, issue based politics of the Democratic Party as compared to the hate filled, dumbed down, fear mongering tactics of the GOP. When does Bob try to revive the women groping, Arnold was a Nazi as a boy chestnuts from the last campaign. My guess is three weeks.

The problem with the Dems – most of them, from Schumer to Firedoglake – is that at this time, at the beginning of a “Long War” there should be an ADULT debate on the role of the Executive and of the Congress… during a war, the Executive tends to gain in power… but if this war with idiot barbarians with nukes and WMDs goes on for a generation – and it probably will – the American republic/democracy is really truly at risk.

I have already noticed that the members of the Armed Forces are much more competent and smarter and better educated and more ADULT than their counterparts in Academe. And then there is almost the entire communications industry: it is working for the enemy, because it is in a snit with Bush over same sex marriage and abortion, and it thinks that the people in the Armed Forces are not “our Kind of People”.

This does not bode well for the future of the American polity.
