The Skilling Test – Crime Pays at the UN

Claudia reminds us: not a single UN Oil-for-Food scoundrel has yet been prosecuted. More amazing yet, they have been retired with full pensions. The Mafia was never so good.

1. Vulgorilla:

Maybe its because the folks needed to do the investigation were the ones caught in the sex-for-food UN scandal.

Roger, government IS organized crime.

The one that hired all the rest of the criminals, the one who just took a gratuity, “After Awarding Kofi Annan $500,000, German Is Given Top U.N. Post” Mr. Annan retires in splendor and with accolades; only at the United Nations could such scoundrels escape jail time. Even Mr. Benin Sevan [head of "Oil for Food"] Mr. Annan’s co-conspirator was given life time diplomatic immunity for what occurred under his direction. The United Nations has outlived its original reason for being and has become an organization of and for enrichment of its bureaucracy. If the United Thugocracy ever gets the right to tax or legislate it will become our dictator. If it ever gets funding like it strives for in the “Law of the Seas Treaty” our country is finished. This is a very dangerous organization and we should do our upmost to terminate its existence because with its present membership it will certainly terminate our existence if ever given the chance.
