I am an Irish Catholic Atheist who has a much greater appreciation of things Jewish, especially the need for support of the state of Israel.

James E., my mother is a Griffin and your recipe is reminiscent of my world renown Newfoundland Moose Milk.I must try yours but here is a little trick, pour in a bottle of beer (very carefully) just before serving.

OK, I’m not a food police type, just use fresh eggs and WASH them before use. Yup, this uses raw eggs, oh horrors!

This serves a bunch, and is served cold. Take a BIG punch bowl, put in a quart of really good vanilla icecream, pour eggnog over icecream.

ingredients:
3 qt. cream
2 cups sugar
18 eggs separated
1 750-ml. bottle rum
1 750-ml. bottle bourbon
1 cup brandy

Mixing instructions:
Combine the Rum, Bourbon and egg yolks; stir well. Combine the cream and sugar; then blend into the liquor mix. Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold them in. Garnish with nutmeg.
