Vote early, vote once a week

The beta version of the Pajamas Media Presidential Straw Poll is open at our clandestine site. (wink, wink).
Have a look and vote. I’d also be interested in your feedback here. Many features are going to be added to this. It’s a weekly poll that is based on the premise that many will be changing their votes as events go forward. I voted this week. Who knows how I’ll vote next week? And, yes, I voted in both parties. We encourage everyone to do that. Consider it therapy. Or an experiment in democracy. Anyway, it’s just for practice. Your real vote isn’t for a long time yet.

It’s interesting to see Richardson leading the early polling among the Democrats. When I saw the list of Democratic candidates, my first thought was there wasn’t s single one I could vote for … until I saw Richardson’s name. He’s always struck me as a reasonably sane moderate Democrat, though we’ll see if that holds up in the harsh light of the campaign.

For the Republicans, I laughed when I realized my two top choices were Rudy and Romney. I’ll have to think about that one to see what it means. :D .

My first thought was, Who’s Tom Vilsack?

My second thought was, Either Rudy or McCain would easily defeat anyone on the D side, but outside of those two I don’t see an R with much of a chance.

Anyway, what makes Pajamas Media worthwhile to me is that it covers issue that the MSM overlooks, or covers issues in a way that the MSM can’t or won’t. The MSM will cover the presidential horserace over and over and over.

I just couldn’t go blue…there’s just something so wrong with that, even as a freakin’ game.

I’m with you PC14.

Huston, this is NJ. Pajamas is having a problem. Over.

NJ. What seems to be the problem? (aside from the odors) Over.

Huston, I can’t go to Pajamas from here… nor from anywhere, for that matter. Over and out.
