This year’s are up on PJM.
Speaking of acronyms… btw… this blog was down for a few hours this morning. I forgot to pay the piper (Go Daddy). That’s been rectified and the DNS apparently resolved quickly. In the US at least.

1. mikem:I got a kick out of it. Nice to know that even creative minds slip into neutral once in a while.

Heh… Got to pay the piper don’t ya know… Oh well, the posts have been slim since the PJ inauguration, so it is to be expected. Surely you have more than 14 hours to devote to the blog…
Feb 25, 2007 - 6:09 pm 3. Sandy P:I really thought Eddie M would have won.
Feb 25, 2007 - 6:31 pm 4. Sandy P:What the hell is going on behind Melissa’s head?
Quit preaching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Feb 25, 2007 - 6:36 pm 5. promoguy:Come on Sandy. Give her a break. After all she was there with her wife and gave thanks to both her and their four children. That takes a lot of guts in Hollywood.
And now that I have heard the 60 sec of both her and Al Gore, I may even consider going over to the other side. You gotta be right if you win Oscars right!!!!!!!
/what a crock on the music award.
Feb 25, 2007 - 8:39 pm 6. Sandy P:So, Lucas, Spielberg, Coppola, Jaaaccckkk.
All on stage together, what country(ies) can they collectively buy?
Feb 25, 2007 - 9:13 pm 7. Sandy P:I see that editing was another big middle finger to middle America, well, they did play to their audience.
Feb 25, 2007 - 9:19 pm 8. Sandy P:Well, who would have thought Meryl Streep would need clothing advice from Diane Keaton???
Keaton actually looked good.
Feb 25, 2007 - 9:20 pm 9. miapulp:Sooooooo, Roger posts his picks the same morning as the Oscars!? Oh well, it’s not like you were up to your 2005 standards where you picked 22 out of 24 correctly. (and, as a consequence, so did I) I had to go by Entertainment Weekly and whatever Vegas oddsmakers I could find and ended up with a meager 13 correct picks.
We all enjoyed the show, the Red Carpet, the food, the wine and the conversation. Hey, I even enjoyed the shadow figures!
Faye Dunaway and Sally Kirkland will have to share the Worst Dressed Award even though Meryl Streep was a contender. Faye is among the top 10 of all time outfits from her Bonnie and Clyde days but yesterdays double decker black Poiret was a disaster. Poor Sally. A rainbow colored bat-winged something or other. Meryl just didn’t seem to care about what she wore and it seemed that she pulled something out of her closet that afternoon. Oh, and this Moroccan necklace will do just as well as a Harry Winston. Jennifer Hudson looked good on stage. Once Jennifer Hudson got out of her silver lame futuristic mini-shrug, she looked better, but who in her entourage acted the sycophant by telling her, “That looks GREAT, hun!” Fire them!
Best dressed: Helen Mirren, Penelope Cruz, Cate Blanchett, Reese Witherspoon. And Penelope’s sister looked gorgeous too. Beyonce’s red dress for the Dreamgirls songs was also outstanding.
