Remember the shooting of "The Adventures of Robin Hood"? It was winter time, but they wanted Sherwood Forest (actually a location somewhere in California) to look green. So what did the filmmakers do? They spraypainted the forest green, leaves and all. Fifty years later, if I'm not mistaken, the makers of "Dirty Dancing" did the same thing. Was the health of the environment at the top of the filmmakers' agenda when they decided to go Dutch Boy on every tree and shrub in sight? You decide.
