Politics: the money derby continues

The other day I wrote that I suspected money is not as much the mother’s milk of politics as it used to be. I hope I was right, because now look who is “in the money.” Well not as much as some (and there’s no way to know how much Fred T. has because he’s not yet formally declared) but more than the hapless McCain.

Of course money is still a barometer for enthusiasm and there is always plenty of enthusiasm for ideologues, alas.

Ron Paul is now equal in fundraising to: Sen Biden. I don’t think there is much to worry about here.

Roger please do not forget the State of New Mexico’s Governor Bill Richardson. Bill is still running down the tracks after the train yelling “Don’t forget Me”. He does have an impressive record for dealing with all sorts of world ‘Thugs’ with various outcomes. He is grabbing a bit of cash to boot. Any opinion? http;//daflikkers.blogspot.com/

Besides the decline of money, what of the rise of YouTube and HD large screen TV?

Money and Politics have historically gone hand in hand. Now we have the semi-ultimte source of money being tapped into. The ‘Concert’ attendees of the world. This is an absolutely brilliant Campaign move. (for an undeclared runner that is) The entire worlds media may give this attention…possibly. Is this the plan? http://daflikkers.blogspot.com/

I don’t think we should put too much stock on Ron’s money surge.
If anything I would ask who is giving him money.
People give money to spammers.

I mean, Chauncey Gardener (Obama) is out-raising Hillary?

To me it says this election remains up for grabs.
