Politics: the money derby continues

The other day I wrote that I suspected money ^[1]is not as much the mother’s milk of politics as it used to be. I hope I was right, because now look who is “in the money ^[2].” Well not as much as some (and there’s no way to know how much Fred T. has because he’s not yet formally declared) but more than the hapless McCain.

Of course money is still a barometer for enthusiasm and there is always plenty of enthusiasm for ideologues, alas.
