Ralph Nader is perhaps the number one reason why George W. Bush won in 2000. Thus, he has already stubbornly proven that he places "principle" over pragmatic politics. This could get downright dirty and highly damaging to the Democratic Party. The 525 allegations might even eventually get a few activists arrested and sent to prison. I can't imagine Nader changing his mind.
