Talk about not ready for prime time… Of course, he has competition.

Would not vote for him…but this will NOT hurt him…Contrary to your opinion – actually, may help him a bit.

I’m rooting for this to hurt Huckabee, but if his supporters have swallowed his crap so far, they’re likely to fall for this as well.

I mean, seriously. In any fair world his record comes off as deeply liberal and statist. What worries me is not that his supporters don’t know or care. I’m hoping for that. What worries me is that these Reagan Democrats like his statism, and prefer it to the real deal you get from others like Fred Thompson. They might like the idea of government as a nanny, and want it to jump in everywhere and anywhere.

Huck can’t win this way, but he could go down in history as the man who brought down the GOP governing coalition trying.

And just when we need them, the dollars and activism that might have stopped him in time is wasted on Ron Paul. You know, just to make absolutely, positively sure that we’re screwed.

I think its time that the GOP realizes that there are some Very Serious differences in the goals of the Fiscal Conservatives, the Libertarians and the Social/Christian Conservatives. To think that you’ll find a candidate that meets the needs of those groups, would seem to require the rebirth of the Gipper.
