Last night the exit polls were wrong again. They predicted McCain and Huckabee neck and neck in VA and McCain won by a comfortable nine points, as well as won in a walk in MD and DC. This has not been the year of the poll. Zogby disgraced itself in California (on the Republican side as well.)
The good thing from this is that it keeps election nights interesting. The exit polls come in and you roll your eyes. This also should give us pause about the “information” gleaned from exit polls in general – how many women voted for so-and-so, etc. Half truths at best.
