1. David Thomson:

We will probably see the Los Angeles Lakers confront the Boston Celtics. Kobe Bryant’s team should be able to capture the championship in six games. By the way, is he still talking about leaving the Lakers?

I was hoping my Pistons would once again face off with your Lakers in June, Roger, but they seem to prefer flaming out in a blaze of indifference once again. *Again!* “If it ain’t rough it ain’t right.” Arrrgggggggghhhhhh!

Either way it’s going to be a memorable Finals. Congrats to you guys on getting there. If you end up facing Boston my allegiance will lie with the purple and gold. If Detroit somehow wins the next two games (you never really know with these guys – I don’t think *they* even know) it will be a blast – always is. One of my fondest Pistons-Lakers series memories is actually one we lost, in 1988, just because it was such great basketball (and theater).

Two more nail-biting nights to earn the privilege of having Kobe drop 40-a-night on us – woo-hoo!

Give Kobe all the rings and awards he can merit by putting a bouncy ball through a rim – he is, was, and will always remain a low-class, pompous, spoiled, arrogant, punkwad.

May 30, 2008 - 11:01 am 4. Barry Dauphin:

Do not give up on the Pistons yet. If nothing else there will be a game 7.

May 30, 2008 - 4:01 pm 5. Barry Dauphin:

Ugh…spoke too soon.
