I wish they’d find something in merlot so that the L.A. Westside folks will have something to worry about. Why is it always about us who live out here in the barrio of Van Nuys.

Please note that the bureaucrats are employing the so-called precautionary principle. This can cause a lot of problems since we do not live in a risk free world. I could possibly get hit by a truck if I step outside my front door. Should I therefore put on body armor and demand a police escort—or should I simply realize the odds of such a thing happening is off the statistical charts? “Could” is something of weasel word. I could even hypothetically embarrass Kobe Bryant on a basketball court. However, I doubt very much if gamblers in Las Vegas will bet their life savings on this possibility.

Obama said he was in favor of ketchup but would “refine” his choice for ketchup after meeting with military commanders.
But when he was accused of “flip-flopping,” he held a second news conference hours later to emphasize his commitment to ketchup.
When asked – what about the commanders? Obama said that the typical white commander, clinging to their guns already prefered ketchup over salsa. But that he would be willing to take another look after ’siestas’ in all 57 states.
