I found myself wondering if it was pro-McCain; It doesn't help him on the right, but maybe the middle is wide open for him rather than Obama since he's always been there, while in contrast Obama looks like he's compromising to get there. McCain can appeal to the middle without turning his back on anyone. McCain may have this one. Because of his age, his choice of running mate will have bigger impact, though. It’s interesting.
