That was an awesome defensive ad for McCain. Conservatives hate McCain. He knows it... No love lost there.

On the other side - Why not just press on with celebrity? BHO doesn't have any experience - Fine - Keep hammering the coolness factor to the point of satire. It would be OK.

I suppose Hillary regrets the kind words now that she is back on the ballot. Denver hasn't seen this kind of a finish since Ken Stabler led the Raiders into Bronco territory...and won!

Some people are missing the point of this ad. The purpose of this ad is not to get Democrats to vote for him, but to shield him from attacks by Democrats. In other words, if these Democrats now attack him then they are seen as liars and hypocrites.

It's interesting. I found myself wondering if it was pro-McCain; It doesn't help him on the right, but maybe the middle is wide open for him rather than Obama since he's always been there, while in contrast Obama looks like he's compromising to get there. McCain can appeal to the middle without turning his back on anyone.

McCain may have this one. Because of his age, his choice of running mate will have bigger impact, though.

No, seeing who they have on here praising McCain, this may as well be an Obama ad.

It's really quite good. The risk I see is that it's hard to both discredit Democrats as being out of touch and then quote them supporting your guy. Which part are they wrong about?

Nonetheless, it supports I point I make often, which is that your opponents' own words can be your best weapons.

NOW we are getting some McCain ads that are powerful. And this one does have a sly sense of humor...love it! Ads don't have to have contrast to make sense to the general public. They get it.
