And now Keith Olbermann is being censored AND Fox isn't allowed to talk about GE's activities in Iran! Ah, how blissfully convenient for these megacorporations!

snip from a snip on up now on Instapundit:

In the original skit Sandler addresses Frank, saying, "And thank you Congressman Frank as well as many Republicans for helping block Congressional oversight of our corrupt activities." To which Frank replies enthusiastically, "Not at all!" All that's gone in the new version.

NBC has re-posted the video, but part of the Sandler bit has been cut--just the tail end of it. Most of the good stuff is still there.

In 1992 the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston got the whole sub-prime going with their 'study' and report on suposed 'redlining'. The head of the bank, and writer of the forward of the report was Richard Syron, friend of Barney Frank.

16 years later, a few weeks ago, Ricard Syron was fired from being the head of Freddie Mac where the New York Times reported he made near 30 million, and leaving us God knows how much debt.

Life is nice for governmentalists.

Great skit, despite the obligatory dismissal of Bush as a moron.

The reference to Soros as "owner of the Democratic Party" was waaaaay too close to the truth.

I saw the skit on Saturday night. I was quite shocked to see SNL satirize the sainted Barney Frank. As long as they are giving it to everybody, satire is a great thing, even when they give it to my side. But if it's only one side that gets roasted, it's not satire but a political endorsement.
