Get offa my cloud: Reactionary Obama ejects oppo media from his plane

I used to think  the fear of reinstatement of the Orwellianly-titled  “Fairness Doctrine” in an Obama administration was just a paranoid fantasy–they couldn’t be that extreme–but when I read today on Drudge that the Obama people have ejected the New York Post, Dallas Morning News and the Washington Times from their campaign plane, I knew it was time to reconsider. (Drudge is confirmed by the Wash Times here.) They have 90% of the MSM with them already.  Does it have to be a hundred percent? If these dudes, riding high as they are, can pull a stunt like that, think how they will behave when times are tough for them.  Hello, Animal Farm!

So this is the change and hope we’ve been hearing about… America the Censored. Well, I guess I can see why Obama wants to talk with Ahmadinejad.  They think alike.  [He should do well with the Chinese too.-ed.]

“I used to think the fear of reinstatement of the Orwellianly-titled “Fairness Doctrine” in an Obama administration was just paranoia–they couldn’t be that extreme”

We already know that Barck Obama is something of a follower of Saul Alinsky and other left-wing ideologues. It is a core doctrine of these folks that “fascists” must be censored. Has our host already forgotten Herbert Marcuse? I take it for granted that a President Obama will immediately attack our democratic institutions. He will do so as quickly as possible. Once again, I see no evidence indicating that he is a violent man. Nonetheless, Obama is existentially committed to overthrowing the allegedly evil white establishment. He did, after all, attend the racist church of Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Oct 31, 2008 - 12:48 pm 2. David Thomson:

I long ago realized that guilt tripped white people have been programmed by our culture to perceive any warm and friendly “man of color” as non-threatening. Only angry looking ones like Rev. Jeremiah Wright are supposedly a real danger. I personally consider Obama as merely a smoother talking Al Sharpton. And why would anyone think otherwise? Obama, for roughly twenty years, sat in a church pew listening to a racist preacher. A typical sunday morning sermon is roughly 25-30 minutes long. How could somebody endure such madness, on a continuous basis, unless they substantial agreed with most of those vile sentiments?

Roger, don’t forget that if he gets in he’ll have his CivilSecurityCorps as big as and equipped like the army. He’ll also have the DoJ. JtP and this give great evidence as to the vindictive and petty nature of these people. Give them the power and tools above and they will not stop themselves from using them. They won’t see why they should. They are the chosen afterall.

Amadinejad and the Chinese? Think how well Barack will get along with Hugo Chavez.

What is even more dangerous that we don’t talk about is all the successful people of color that have achieved through hard work and family effort reaching their goals but are affraid to speak out against Sen Obama and what he has planed for America. Again, just like what happened in Germany, fear
of reprisals and no one knows what else. Wait a minute, am I not describing him as a little boy and what his family did to help him attain where he is today, then why is he so eager to destroy his own race by taking away their incentives to be similar achievers, unless it is to control them, using them and making them useless but to serve his political agenda and take over of the American Government. Unlike those in Germany, we as a people will not leave nor serender our rights to his ways, we may have to let him show those that are his followers what fools they were to be used, sort of like the French Revolution when they woke from a deep sleep and said “No More”. But we are by nature a peaceful group of people than loves our freedom of choice & democracy and will do it through the ballot box…his failures if he wins will bring about his downfall in the next election, but let us all vote to bring his failure in this election.

Careful, Roger. I don’t think they make s’mores at reeducation camp.

Oct 31, 2008 - 3:40 pm 7. ricpic:

The essence of America, not only tolerance for what your opponent has to say but the passionate defense of his right to say it, is very fragile. Since there’s nothing natural about it it has to be taught, taught thoroughly, to each succeeding generation. A very large cohort of this generation has not been taught anything of the kind. Just the opposite in fact. So why should American Exceptionalism in this regard, another phrase for it is American Decency, continue? No reason. And it won’t.

“Napoleon, with the dogs following him, now mounted on to the raised portion of the floor where Major had previously stood to deliver his speech. He announced that from now on the Sunday-morning-Meetings would come to an end. They were unnecessary, he said, and wasted time. In future all questions relating to the working of the farm would be settled by a special committee of pigs, presided over by himself. These would meet in private and afterwards communicate their decisions to the others. The animals would still assemble on Sunday mornings to salute the flag, sing *Beasts of England*, and receive their orders for the week; but there would be no more debates.”

Regardless of whether this socialist wins or loses, we must dismantle the entitlement state that America has become.

Immigrants from all over the world come to America and become successful through hard work.

We have immigration issues, but our problem is native-born freeloaders. We must ridicule them, and tolerate neither their culture nor the industries that support their freeloading.

We have kissed ass for too many years.

How long would it be before we are listening to “Radio Free America” huddled in dark cellar hideaways. Under an all Democrat ruling party that revives the “Fairness Doctrine” that could become a reality. After all it is all bout fairness according to Obama.

Oct 31, 2008 - 4:51 pm 11. bogie wheel:

I used to think that Obama was another version of Jimmy Carter. Now I’ve come to believe he’s much worse … the worst aspects of Carter and Nixon combined. The sidling up to dictators (Carter), the petty vindictiveness & uber-secrecy of a megalomaniac control freak (Nixon), the absolute cluelessness re: dealing with irrational actors on the foreign front (Carter), and the treatment of domestic critics as public enemies of the first order (Nixon).

Obama’s response to General Petraeus was very illustrative of a mental inflexibility that comes not from, well, mental inflexibility but from a deep-seated character fault. That Obama could look at the General (who has spent more time in Iraq than Obama has in, well, just about any job Obama has ever held; and who is the architect of the strategy that finally brought us success there) and basically say, “I know better than you do” (couched in smoother, more glib words, but essentially that was the message), was an example of breathtaking hubris.

Obama just KNOWS he’s right. About everything. He knows Iraq better than Petraeus. He knows what’s good for Joe Wurzelbacher better than Joe Wurzelbacher. He knows, better than the small-town whites of Pennsylvania, the life circumstances and thoughts of small-town whites in Pennyslvania that led them to vote for Hillary over him in staggering proportions. And he knows, of course, that his socialist agenda will really, truly, actually, finally “work” this time around, as administered by him, in spite of socialism’s utter and complete history of failure everywhere else.

Talk about your intellectual fundie. He’s every bit as entrenched in the absolute conviction of his own rightness as the worst caricature of some religious nut.

Many months ago, during the primaries, someone wrote a blog comment to the effect that, “Obama was one of those children who was raised to believe his poo didn’t stink.”

Reductionist and silly, yeah, but darn perceptive.

Oct 31, 2008 - 5:40 pm 12. John Moore:

Worrying about the “Fairness Doctrine” is far from paranoid. Various Democrats, including Pelosi, have said that they will legislate it. Sounds like this paranoid has real enemies.

Last night, I heard an Obama surrogate mention the “fairness doctrine” in a very favorable way.

I think the Dems will do their best to suppress dissent. It shows in their recent history, and the radical tradition now driving the leaders includes silencing (or killing, but that worry would be paranoid) opposition.

Typical hackery, Rog. “So this is the change and hope we’ve been hearing about… America the Censored.” So…what, Obama’s censoring these news orgs by kicking them off his plane?

Do you even know what censorship is? Or are you trying to be funny again?

Oct 31, 2008 - 6:34 pm 15. Paul:

AlanC mentions the Civil Security Corp. Now what could such an entity’s function possibly be? It’s supposed to be “as powerful as the military”. WTF!!!

There’s only ONE function for such a para-military body within our borders and that is as a force to use against the population. This man’s planning to become a dictator, make no mistake. No one affiliates closely with Ayers, Wright, etc. for years without sharing their hard Marxist anti-American views. They are planning to “change” America all right, and the Civil Security Corp is the blunt instrument he will wield to insure, when the time is right, that there is nothing we can do about it.

Ad Noctum:

“Wound my heart with a monotonous langour.”

In my less-despairing moments, I think that a lot of Obama’s overreaction to criticism is simple immaturity. But then reality sets in, and I’m back to my essential evaluation of the guy – preening, self-important, dictatorial, messianic ignoramus.

How it is that anyone is taken in by the guy, let alone half the country (and virtually all of the media) is beyond me.

Aux armes, citoyens.

Obama is largely the product of academia, and the academic wing of the Democratic party is very influential. And academics, at least over the last couple of decades, have been much more oriented toward the suppression of dissenting speech than have people in general.

We can speculate about why this is so..one theory is that academics (outside the hard sciences) live in a universe of *words*, and hence tend to lose the distinction between words and actions.

Bogie Wheel, very perceptive comments. Pelosi stated that giving the Dhimmicrats larger majorities will lead to a more bipartisan Congress. If that isn’t new speak, what is?

Nov 1, 2008 - 8:55 am 19. Anita Hope:

In Germany we saw what the private security group was “SS” or “Gestapo”, such feared that it caused neighbor to fear neighbor. Either you lived by their
code or you suffered the consequences. We have come so far in respecting our fellow man and to see the subject of race be returned to the middle 1900’s is so sad.To have a bi-racial man publish books stating his dislike for being conceived by parents that had overcome the “black & white” factor.
What ever his political goals it is frightening to have a man with such disgust becoming PRESIDENT of America, a country made up of a rainbow of colors most wanting the same things,FREEDOM & OPORTUNITY & PEACE.

Nov 1, 2008 - 9:05 am 20. MIke Reynolds:

Yes, Baraq may be tempted to send around squads of his Greenshirts or Obamajugend (or whatever they’ll be called) to smash in the doors of right wing radio stations in the name of The One, but…..he also will want to be re-elected in 2012, no?

Unless of course he “destroys democracy and sets up a police state.” Gee, isn’t that an odd echo of what all the hysterical, self-pitying whiners on the Left like Naomi Wolff have been sniveling about for the past eight years? We don’t need any more McVeighs. ‘Nuff said.

Nov 1, 2008 - 9:06 am 21. Anita Hope:

Fear led to control in Nazi Germany and self preservation caused good europeans to allow Hitler & his bullies to stay in power till our country & citizens
realized what he was trying to do with the cooperation of Japan attacking Pearl Harbor. History may be repeating itself but now right in our country and
by 2012, his party will have plenty of time to”CHANGE” the way we as a free people select a “PRESIDENT” or “LEADER”. Take a look at how many of his states have changed the registration to vote, it does not take year’s only week’s, The computer and Pod Cast are the future way as we now recognize
how the newspapers & TV has led so many down this road of “HIS PLAN TO CHANGE” all that America is built on. The infiltration of the Ayer’s family in
the field of education should have been a light turned on that they have planned “CHANGING THE MINDS” of children since after WWII. Great Black leaders in this country have taught good white people to stop the racial termoil and become one, yet those determined to bring us back to where we once were so devided are succeeding in just the past 24 months, thus we better start realyzing now and stop his plan for 2012.

Nov 1, 2008 - 11:27 am 22. Paul:

Ayers, Wright, Soros, and by implication Obama, are intent on a socialist revolution, make no mistake. Not by a violent overthrow of the government, but by the Gramscian method of cultural change (everything we’ve seen since the 60s when the the counter culture brought the ideas of the Gramscians into the population)and the long march through the institutions. These people believe, and always have, that American style capitalist democracy is the source of all the evil and social injustice of the world and they aim to destroy our system totally. That means if Obama wins there will be no future election where there is a possibility of an opposition party regaining power. They have waited too long and schemed to hard to EVER let go of power once they have acquired it. The ultimate goal of a world wide socialist order did not die with the fall of the Berlin Wall or the dissolution of the USSR.

These people rely on Americans believing that “it can’t happen here”, and that Obama is a moderate who respects the Constitution and is a patriotic American. That picture with his hands at his side during the Pledge Of Allegiance says it all. That is what is known as a “tell”. Devious but arrogant people always give subtle signals telegraphing their true intentions if you are careful to watch for them. They can’t help themselves, and the degree to which they leave clues is proportional to their hubris. The Obama icon is another tell. The Stars an Stripes are on the ground…a walkway or path to the mysterious white sphere under the blue sky. It’s Obama’s intention to use America as a stepping stone to world domination. He has come right out and said he will change the world. That is what he means.

He has said many things signaling his true intentions, but none so telling as his plan for a Civil Security Corp, as powerful as the military. He is getting the population used to the idea, and will portray it as something innocuous as the Peace Corp or some such, but it will be an instrument to enforce his will. We’ve already seen thuggish behavior from his campaign. We know about Allinsky’s Rules For Radicals. We’ve seen leftist and socialist revolutions and their inevitable totalitarian regimes. Why would this new batch of leftists be any different?

Wake up people.

Obama, Anti-Christ? Let’s not go off the deep end with dire predictions.

Nov 1, 2008 - 8:35 pm 24. Dee:

Remember, what ever happens if he is elected,it is the Will Of The People. This is what the majority want. And keep your eyes open for the opportunity to push for your own desires for our Country.

The information is out there. Anyone who researched at all as read the statements by Peolsi, Reid and Obama. They are ready to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine, legislate for draconian measures to stop global warming and of course raise our taxes and increase regulations on our lives. If most Americans vote for that agenda, then that is what they want.

I personally hope to go down fighting but it won’t be pretty. Ah,sigh. I hope I am having delusional nightmares and he becomes a closet conservative or even a true moderate.
