Gaza updates you won’t get on CNN

If you’re sick of the CNN reactionaries like Amanpour, the best place for information out of Israel is Ynet. Apparently things are going not too badly for the IDF. Also, the Jerusalem Post today has this report that shows no matter what the Israelis do to the Palestinians, it’s nothing compared to what they do to each other.

UPDATE:  Bloomberg in Ashkelon – doing the right thing.

It’s always best to circumvent the MSM. The only way I ever encounter CNN or the networks anymore is if a blog links to them – I refuse to give them the traffic. As for Amanpour, she should just drop the pretense and work directly for the Islamists already.

With Hamas/Fatah, it’s meet the old boss, same as the relatively new boss. The cockroaches will wait for the smoke to clear and ultimately reconstitute. It doesn’t matter a whole lot what the name of the “leadership” is, the hatred and mission statement will remain the same. That said, I don’t mean to diminish the Israeli operation and certainly understand its immediate necessity. May my weary cynicism prove to be exaggerated.

Sorry, none of this is news. MSM bias and Muslim killing Muslim is decades old. Don’t tell me you found another example of it. What a shocker!

People love to suffer. If they didn’t all this nonsense would end in two minutes.

Martin Kramer has a good letter on the strategy. I hope he’s right. If he is, and there is other information, such as many killings of Fatah members by Hamas, Israel and Fatah are working together to eliminate Hamas. If Fatah has learned its lesson about corruption and nepotism, maybe there is still a chance for a two-state solution.

Fox news has interviewed six or eight different Israeli officials & spokespersons over the last few days –i mean, that i’ve seen –and from Pinkus on down, Fatah has been mentioned in the course of the discourse, always in terms of respect & legitimacy. Maybe Mike_K is onto something –

Arutz Sheva, Israel National News, http://www.israelnationalnews.com/ (news, articles, webtv) is an important site to visit to balance the very left leaning media typical of Israel media. (Beware Ha’aretz & Ynet which are pro Labor & Kadima, leftist parties) Therefor, it’s imperative to supplement even the news you recieve from Israeli spokesmen w/ some right-leaning Israeli media(pro total victory & not just another phoney ceasefire that kicks the war on Hamasistan down the road.)

Hi Roger,

I’m certain that the IDF will conduct a superb military operation. Unfortunately, I doubt it will result in any long term good. Things will soon go back to the same ole same ole. Look for more rocket attacks in the future.

I made the mistake of watching BBC America today. Just one long anti-Israel screed for the most part. They spoke of the Messiah’s silence on the conflict then reminded their viewers he was, after all, elected president of the United States(wink wink). I’m surprised they didn’t mention that his Chief of Staff designate was a neo-con(wink wink).

Jan 5, 2009 - 11:12 pm 10. Crusader:

Pops – let’s hope the IDF doesn’t leave things in that state. Because if the rockets keep flying once the IDF is gone back, it will just have to go in again and even harsher. No sane government will allow rocket attacks on your civilians, unless they want to be replaced fast.
