Fisher for three! (twice)

As everyone at PJTV knows, I’ve been in a grumpy mood all day. It was the day of game four of the NBA finals and the Lakers were looking shaky against Dwight Howard and the Magic. Kobe seemed tired. Dave Chung, our video director, stuck his head in my office at the end of the day and said if the Lakers didn’t win tonight, he’s staying clear of me for the next week. (Dave’s a Golden State fan.) Well, Dave you don’t have to worry. Doughnuts on me tomorrow. D-fish!!!!

D-fish… after missing five, hits one when it really counts, and hits a dagger in OT. Very cool.

Stan Van Gundy is God’s gift to the Lakers. Maybe they are giving him a few dollars under the table? Van Gundy’s simply lacks the ability to calm down his inexperienced team and his judgement leaves much to be desired. He actually told his players not to foul the Laker with the ball with only seconds left on the clock—and with a three point lead. Van Gundy is most assuredly not a basketball genius.

It looks as if the Lakers are going to win it. I’m happy for you, although as a Boston Celtics fan, I hate the Lakers with a passion. Although I respect his basketball skills, every time I see Kobe Bryant on the TV I’m tempted to order my daughter out of the room. I hope that both the Celtics and Lakers are healthy next year and have the opportunity to meet in the finals.

Don’t sweat it, Roger. Any sport where you get free throws because somebody touched you isn’t a real sport anyway.

Curling. Now THERE’S a sport.

Hey Mambo!! lol…..A tune dances its way thru this fuzzy little mind…
why can’t a woman be more like a man?…..harrison (NOT BENJAMIN)
and having read the comments above, I say why can’t political banter/differences be articulated more like the often poignant sometimes tongue in cheek and sometimes just plain cheeky discourse among sports guys…and the beer is good too. thx fellas. really good!
