Will someone please find the photos of Gasbag Joe Biden, in his recovering from hairplug surgery mode. As I remember, they were pretty funny. And who will write the Gasbag’s acceptance speech? Neal Kinnock? He was the man who had command of the metaphorical lynching of Clarence Thomas, and could have prevented it, but chose not to do so. He allowed the only people more stupid than he (Leahy, Metzenbaum, Simon, et. al.) to beat up on a black man, for the crime of being a Conservative. Yuch!

Biden uses other people’s speeches just like Obama. They’re perfect for each other. Picking Biden also goes to show that Obama is just another politician. Actually, it shows he’s the worst kind of politician. He should have picked an outsider looking to cross over party lines. There’s nothing in Obama’s campaign that demonstrates he’s working to unite America.

I’m going out on a limb here, but I predict that McCain will not, like Obama, choose a running mate who’s 20 years older than he is.

Biden is one of the handful of men that have been in the Senate longer than McCain. Biden was the genius behind “Borking” Robert Bork. He voted for the war – but now will have to be against it.

He, like Obama, was certain the surge was a terrible mistake. In April 2007, Biden wrote an op-ed piece for the Washington Post, in which he said with certainty: “I cannot guarantee that my plan for Iraq will work. But I can guarantee that the course we’re on — the course that a man I admire, John McCain, urges us to continue — is a road to nowhere.” We’ll see if he, like Obama, will continue to blindly deny that the surge succeeded.

Ron — Maybe because Obama is another kind of fool, another “walking gaffe machine”–if you haven’t been paying attention to his remarks off the teleprompter.

And maybe those who put their faith in Obama are the ones who have been played by a politician with hip cool manners but from the self-righteous populist tradition of Huey P. Long and George Wallace.
