As a GM bondholder, small business owner and net taxpayer my loathing of Obama as a leader is well justified. As for the killing of Tiller, excuse me, he performed 60 thousand abortions. Many of them late term abortions. Infants that could have survived outside the womb. No different than. Mengele. That does not justify the killing of him outside the law but it is nauseating to see the wailing on behalf of this monster. The shooter at the Holocaust Museum was no right winger. He was simply a racial socialist. All these types always are against big business and capitalism in general and their economic philosophies are at best a form of populism. They guys are only right wing in the sense they are to the right of Joseph Stalin.

I really do see your point Ron but you are really making some stretches here. I cant believe in an attempt to lower the vitriol in your comment section you make the assertion that the recent shootings were done a.) by right wingers and b.) because their hate was drummed up in comments sections. As one who considers himself on the right (and also one who comments on posts such as yours) I find this extremely insulting and a poor first step in improving the tenor.

This brings me to my second point. Leading up to the election we were told by everyone everywhere that Obama was the smartest man alive. He was the one that could unite us. He was the first pst racial candidate. Blah blah blah blah blah. Many of us saw right through it as bs. For every question we raised we were given assurances that he was the one. He was far more moderate, far more reasoned than any other democrat since Bill Clinton. We even had prominent republicans wetting themselves to support him. Still we doubted and after we lost the election, those of us who didnt support Obama and thought McCain too moderate too were told that we were wrong and we were at faylt for our party losing. Well, it didnt take long to prove us right and every Obama believer wrong. So as painful as it is, what you here are the bitter I told you so's of men and women watching their country being dismantled brick by brick.

I dont hate Obama and I do agree that our side sinking to the level of the Kos kids is wrong and needs to stop. I think we on the right better get our stuff together too and credit him for things we see him doing well too. We must realize that if we do give him credit where it is do, when we need to absolutely clobber him, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Dodd, Durbin et al we will at least have a bit of credibility with the center.

So while I get your point and share it, spare us the moral equivalence to the murderous nutcases that share very little in common with the right or we may have to start calling the left out for all the homegrown jihadists running around killing people. By the way, dont the guys that tried to blow up the synogogues have more in common with the holocost museum shooter than your average pro israel conservative? How about Jeremiah Wright? What's he think about them Jews? I spose they are right wing too?

"reminds me of Adlai in Dallas, September 1963"

Adlai Stevenson was lightly hit across the head by a weird woman---with a cardboard sign. This admittedly was not a nice thing to do, but it was nothing more than that. The other protesters did not lay a finger on him. But are you trying to hint that this sort of anger evolved to the point that by November 22 another right-winger assassinated President John F. Kennedy? If so, you need to get your facts straight. JFK was murdered by a committed Communist! Lee Harvey Oswald was enraged at our capitalist system, widespread racial prejudice, and opposition to the Fidel Castro regime.

Ron, as vile and irrational as your thread ranters are, just how numerous are they? Can we say they make up a sizeable swath of American conservatives?
Given just how fast someone can post his fury, all news/commentary sites are bound to be top heavy in this kind of stuff.
