tlm: unh-unh. obama was being anything but differential to hillary when he tucked his chin, did his grin, "doodling"on his legal pad, and unctuously likened-as-to-how hillary was "likable enough". seldom have i witnessed a more passive-aggressive, snarky comment. but that's how one survives in a world of overbearing, demanding, ego-centric women; you get your barbs in under the radar line.

i agree that he gravitates towards self-obsessed (can you believe it--"they" made ME pay back my student loans!!!), masculine women; he was abandoned by his father, after all, and that brands him for life in my book. he has no control over it.

and this guy want to run our foreign policy.yikes.

stupid, snide comments about side issues aside, you have to admit that the republicans run america solely for the benefit of the oil companies. hillary is a crossover republican. obama is interested in running the country, if the oil compaines let him. bottom line? america is turning to dust, and will go down kicking and screaming.

Why does she continue to run? Because he lets her.

Poor henpecked Obama has been surrounded by demanding women his whole life and is used to being deferential to them, if not capitulatory. His wife Michelle, for example, seems to wear the pants in their household. Like a wolf, HRC sniffed out this weakness toward women in Obama. Remember the hue and cry over his gentlemanly defense of her being "likable enough" during an early debate? Women voters, no doubt stoked by Hillary, smacked him down as being arrogant. That he took it without a fight was a twofer for her: portraying him as uppity for his old fashion chivalry while simultaneously emasculating him. If HRC were a white man and Obama treated "him" with that much deference, no one would vote for him, least of all black Americans. My suggestions for Obama:

Put her away for good. She's not dead in the water because she's not dead. In fact, she's the Undead, bleedin' you of all self respect. Drive a stake through her heart and wrap garlic around her coffin.

Once she's dead politically, don't resurrect her as your Veep. Remember Vince Foster?

With the nomination in hand move rapidly to the center. You must move fast because you have a long way to go from deep left field. Shed the metrosexual look and attitude as you go.

In the general election treat John McCain with collegial respect, not deference. He's not a girl and won't pretend to be offended.

If you win, do something dramatic your first week in office as President. Possibilities include repealing Title IX, declaring a National Take Your Son to Work Day, or relocating the Department of Education to the Pentagon. The crisis affecting boys in K - 12 is a national security concern.

I know you have two girls (as do I). Adopt a couple of boys. That'll keep Michelle busy for a few years.

Be a role model for young boys, black and white. They sorely need one.

The Obama camp is now talking about Limaugh's 'Operation Chaos', suggesting that Republican crossovers voting for Clinton in open primaries amount to tampering. In light of Obama coining the term 'Obamacans' to describe acceptable cross-overs; can we now refer to these voters as 'Obamacan'ts'?

Ron Kean, I'm quite sure Hillary has no plan to smash OPEC. That's a nice sounding politically expedient statement. If the current administration can't get OPEC to lower prices or raise output (which Hillary called "pathetic"), what makes anyone think that OPEC is going to listen to what HRC has to say? Or does she plan to drill along all coasts, in Anwar, promote nuclear power plants, solar wind power off Cape Cod, etc?? HAHAHA!!

Professor Hanson, thank you for not quitting on the Obama hypocrisy despite all the hate mail you get. I for one think character is an important issue for a politician (especially President). When poor character is shown, I don't want it swept under the rug.

perhaps the next big problem obama is to have concerns that tape of him advising teamsters reps about how much easier it would be getting things done when one has a friend in the white house. that doesnt sound much like change-we-ca-believe-in, it sounds worse than business as usual inside the beltway.

I read on Drudge that Senator Clinton wants to smash OPEC. I'm terribly afraid I'm starting to like her. McCain better start moving fast.

'Solar & wind?' How about Cape Cod? Remember? No way Jose.

I appreciate the socialism of the old days when they fought to get the workday down from 14 hours to 10, and then some. Even President Johnson...nice try. But excess has the day.

I wish anybody would listen to a tape of my rabbi. They'd think more of me.

Bottom line. On which Sunday morning did Obama stand up and cheer?
