Why is it taking more than 12 hours to moderate a simple comment on this thread? I posted a comment at 2:16PM EST 2/6/09 right after post # 234, and here at 9:20AM EST on 2/7/09 it is still waiting for moderation.

The problem is clear. Obama is a bright young man who would like to do well. But his inexperience and lack of understanding of the global issues are already showing, and even worse, he is surrounded by clowns, tax cheats and ideological know-nothings who are dragging him down. He badly needs Lieberman and the few available reputable Democrat leaders to pull him out of a mess that threatens to destroy him and badly damage our country. It would be smart to draw in more of the moderate Republicans who care more about America than themselves to help him. It’s his only chance.

Again, You completely ignore my points, and call me names. You just repeat Democrat talking points. Earth to Vivo: You are being used by the enemies of you nation. “Bush’s unnecessary war”? What do you know about it? You are barely out of school. You cannot even defend “your” arguments, how can you imagine that you know anything about defending your civilization? You do not even know what your civilization is about. Your “education” consists of little else but Marxist indoctrination. You cannot even get a decent job with that education of yours, and you konw it. Who are you to tell real people what to think or do?

“Oh Snake eating gods” Listen to yourself. This a childish response–an infantile response. Do you think that anyone that matters at all responds to this sort of thing with other than a mixture of pity and contempt. What are you going to do when you are 50 years old and still a loser. You do not have to go this way, you know. Get over this adolescent vanity and go accomplish something. Then someone will respect your opinions. There are plenty of opportunities for happiness and fulfillment for even people like you. At least there will be until the Democrats destroy them.

Several people have remarked they lived through the Carter years and won’t relish the re-run. I’ve been one of them. Suddenly I realize (assuming the Republicans pick up some seats in 2010) I may get to relive the endless, ugly effort to impeach Nixon. Ugh.
