Europe’s future is certainly a concern. The prospect that the bosom of Western civilization could degenerate into a colony for Islamic nihilists should be sobering to us all.

Call me crazy, but I think France may eventually take the lead in dealing with this problem. Beneath her veneer of sophistication, France has shown remarkable flashes of ruthlessness when the right buttons are pushed. The French Revolution and Algeria come to mind.
