There are rumors of corruption in her administration. The key word is “rumors.” Troopergate is one thing. But I think Alaskans desrve to know why their governor decided to just up and quit on them. SOmething’s going on here. And she may be politically deader than both Blago and Sanford.

I hope that woman becomes a millionaire at the expense of her critics and naysayers..

The Republicans are at risk of fumbling a golden opportunity in the next 2-4 years. Obama’s downfall will be the economy and perhaps a foreign policy misadventure. They need to focus on this and try to find a viable candidate who appeals to a broader base than they have now. They are trying to pander to the social conservatives, dithering over which candidate supports creationism, and accusing certain party members of heresy because they have libertarian leanings. All the while driving away moderates and independents in droves. The party cannot survive if its leadership allows this to continue.

I think Sara can play a crucial role in getting the party to focus on the major issues and hopefully end the squabbling that is tearing the party apart. A third party is not a viable option. Our system is stacked against third parties. The last successful one was TR’s Bull Moose and that was more a cult following than a political movement.

I hope she sues their drawers off and stuffs them in their mouths.

I could say all sorts of things like maybe Michelle looks pregnant all the time, Hillary looks like she has silly putty on her face, etcetcetc..The things said about Palin were seriously degrading and have no place in this country.

we have become a country of not caring what is said or how people are treated. Then one day you wake up and realize you have a government that laughs at you, takes your jobs and outsources them, raises your taxes, and then you’re not laughing because you allowed it to happen. You elected people that don’t give a flying fig about what you need.

She righted the State of Alaska in only a couple of years, and turned it over to her hand-picked successor. The Palin camp is now freed from the bonds of political office and its required niceties to go on a truth telling spree, which will gain her cash and conservative cred. with options for the future. Target #1 should be John McCain — the candidate she saved from historic embarassment by signing on to his dysfunctional pathology of a campaign, only to have him turn on her.

Palin knows the truth: She brought this politically-decrepit gadfly to within weeks of a double-digit win, only to have him and his Keystone Kops of a campaign staff blow it with classically gutless “GOP moderate” aplomb, then try and hang it on her.

The Media already hates her, so that’s a wash; and making enemies of the GOP has-beens can only be a plus with Independents and Conservatives. It is about time that there is a Republican that is willing to play the “bloodsport” without conscience as the leftists do. It’s ironic that it may be a Conservative woman in the Thatcher mold that will revive the party of Lincoln and Reagan.

That would be nice. But i am not sure if she can talk that good. In my opinion Sarah’s image and appeal are tightly connected to her running with McCain in 2008

When Sarah Palin quit, there was a desperation felt by many to express how she was an important player in their conservative identity, how she helped identify some part of themselves that only an outdoorsy folksy down-to-earthy person such as Sarah seemed to get, and a desire to dismiss the negative stories swirling about. Also, there were lots of bad jokes.

The Queen of Pop(ulism) is dead. Long live whatever. Huzzah. Huzzah. Whatever.
