Now I’ll have to wonder if the bartenders at my favorite hole in the wall are just doing their usual attention to their texts, voicemail, and facebook accounts or if they’re actually working. Of course, since my favorite bar actually has a facebook page, damn near every electronic interaction can count as work these days.
As a middle-aged guy I’ve found that clear boozes are less deleterious than not-clear boozes. I guess the colorants have an effect of some sort. So bring on the gin n tonic and rum n coke with clear rum.
And after extensive review and taste testing I’ve found that my liver cares not a whit how much I paid for what’s taking it out, so bring on the el cheapo gin and rum…
