Is there some sort of stupidity communicable only to republicans going around lately? At this rate, Obama could burn down the White house and piss on the Washington monument and still get re-elected in 2012.
Garrett – Sanford’s marriage was shaky before his affair became public; Blagojevich’s was on solid ground before he went to federal prison. Ensign was given money by his parents to buy his mistress’ silence; Monica Conyers was given bribe money by Synagro to direct city contracts to them. Ted Stevens? Charges dropped. Dollar Bill Jefferson? Not so much.
The Democrats argued for years that sex didn’t matter. In fact, they said perjury didn’t matter so long as it was accompanied by sex. Ok. Our guys have sex without perjury. So what’s the problem?
